Edition 1 is probably for the hand built AMG's (the real ones, not these fake ones), and the red seatbelt limitation is probably bc red with any of the other interiors colors would look stupid as hell.

It's also stupid for anyone to buy a slow *** C300 in the Edition 1 (the look def doesn't match the cars performance), but that's neither here nor there...

Yeah, that's what I am talking about. If you think about this really, C43 MUST have Ed.1 just because that's the first 're-badged' 43 car in the past 10 years for MB.

There is no ED1 for the C300 (regardless of what's in the DOG) -- try configuring the Coupe on MBUSA, you'll see there are no options for it. I don't think an ED1 for the C43 was ever announced either, it was only reserved for the C63.

The C43 is on the same playing field as the BMW 340i and Audi S4. While certainly fun, these are not full-fledged performance cars -- that's reserved for the M cars, the Audi RS's, and the AMG 63's.

Also, I don't really care about Ed.1 here - I am concerned about that matte paint.. They could've included it for the same price as other designo colors are. This is kind of annoying.. There were a lot of C300s on the car shows with designo matte gray ^(

As I said, it's not available "regardless of what's in the DOG" (dealer ordering guide) through MBUSA. As for other markets, I have not seen any other ED1's except for the C63... perhaps is regional specific.

Idk, you can youtube C300 Ed.1 and it will certainly give you some results. I've seen some Russian youtubers already filming Ed.1 C300. If you go to Russian/Ukrainian MB website, you can order C300 Ed.1 from there, so yeah, it is regional specific.
Regarding paint: Why would they put it on C300s on all autoshows if they don't want sell it this way??

Nah, cannot afford C63 since I barely can get C43.. Even if I had money for 63, i would not go for it.. 500+ power through Rear wheels - isn't what I wanna do at age 20 (meaning I am not really experienced driver) & since I live in snowy city, can't really get RWD as a daily driver.

In the USA at the dealer I ordered my C43 from there was a C300 Coupe in Matte Selenite Grey sitting there.
No idea if the sticker said Edition One or if it will be available on the C43 coupe.

Yeah, a lot of dealers have matte grey on their C300s, no idea why when DOG says this color is available for ed1. ONLY

ive contacted 2 dealers so far for my c43 order.
dealing with the usual BS, so far one said $500 off msrp. other said MSRP and we can talk about it later . other dealers havent even replied, so i have no idea if they even want to sell cars...
I seriously hate this ordering BS. dealt with it on my last car and pulled the order from a dealer (and a second car my mother was buying...) when they tried to screw around. I would order a C43 from amazon if I could sigh.

In Europe (UK Atleast) you can't get Edition 1, but you can order magno paint with your c300 coupe.

It doesn't seem like you can get magno paint for C43..Only applicable to Ed.1 (however I've seen c300s with this paint and not ed.1)

Basically, The dealership sells the car for $1,500 over their invoice. They Split the $1500 with Costco 50/50. Costco will send you into the dealership and you go straight to the general manager and you are shown the invoice of what the dealership pays on it. Add in the $1,500 and the deal is done.
A couple good friends of mine just used this method at the same time with both buying two new Vettes Z51 packages in different colors this way. List was 61K, they got both for 52K each. (Thankfully my MB dealership is part of this Brand)
Options like that should pop up in the market more and more each year as partnerships form in business.

Maybe i found a good dealer and possibly the C43 sedan is easier to negoiate than the coupe but I basically went in and said i wanted invoice plus fleet and they met my first offer at 6% off plus fleet.
I also said i knew that the outgoing C450's were going for 12% to 18% off and i wasnt paying near msrp. I mentioned this forum, that I had the dealer order guide already, and I wanted to special order.

Go in and make a reasonable offer to the guy and negotiate for a compromise from there. Explain to him why giving you the deal you desire is a good business decision for him and his dealership. Be educate and hold your own in the negotiation and you'll earn his respect, and probably a better deal in the end.
