C43 Grey w/ night package or w/o? That's the question...
Configuring a C43 in selenite grey, I can't decide whether night package is a good addition or not. What do you think?
I like the fact that the lower cross-strut in the front apron is not chrome anymore by default, however, without seeing the actual cars, it's hard to judge if grey would look better with the night package. I'm afraid it may get too dark...
I ordered mine (also selenite grey) without. I honestly didn't see enough of a pop to justify it. Maybe on a black or white car, but on grey it's just meh. Hopefully I'll get my car sometime mid month, and I'll be sure to upload some photos.
I had the same problem. I picked brilliant blue in a C63. In my opinion, MB's need the chrome when in darker colors. But if I picked white, then night package would look good. I had my eye on a 2016 C63s and had a killer deal. But I couldn't get over the night package on it.
I think you can go either way with gray. I do agree that black looks better on the lighter color colors and black as well. If I were doing a white car or in an iridium silver car I would definitely do the black package.

I have come to the conclusion that the rear valence looks better black. But I like the chrome exhaust tips to contrast.
and the front splitter can go either way, generally I like the contrast and think the black blends in with the road making the car look higher off the ground.
So, IMO, wrap/spray the rear valence and call it a day.

Somebody did it on a silver car - looked great.
valid point as well ! I did something similar to my c63s, wrapped the front lip, but for the rest (diffuser, side skirts ) , I kept the silver chrome finish.
I was planning on swapping my night pack tips with a friend who has the silver tips. I ended up not doing it because the stock tips are kinda ugly. I'm glad the black disappears into the tail. They are fugazi split c300 tips that really aren't special looking.

I almost went for the night package with Selenite Grey, but here in Canada at least the PE and the Night package are mutually exclusive, so without question I went for the loud button instead.
I've ordered c63 Coupe in Selenite Grey with Night package and had the same concerns. Now happy with my choice and can't wait till it arrives in March Attachment 345855
I was stuck with this same dilemma since it is difficult to see all of the ordering combinations in person before you put in your order. The following video helped me out and made me switch to the Night Package at the last minute. It helped me a lot because it is the exact color combination I want (Selenite/Cranberry).
You probably already made up your mind, but I'm bored so gonna post anyways.
I say it depends on the wheels you're going to run. The stock 19s work well with either. If you're going to go with a darker wheel, I'd go night pkg and vise versa.
