Unfortunately they do not. I did test out a C43 the other day and its body did not look like my coupe. No wide arches in the rear.

However, the drive was great. The 4 matic is perfect, wish the c63s had that would be more fun during launches and corners

Lot of slack going on in the thread, chill out guys. If you have a problem with the C43, keep out of their threads

When you buy a AMG it's status, performance and style. I know when I pull along side an M3/4 or a Cayman, I have a beast who will get their respect (even without racing). With a C43, that is just not going to happen. That was a big deal for me!
you Paid 25k extra just for the sake of respect from strangers
you must be really smart

Sanch, I'm confused.. I agree that the 43 does not share similar body styling with the 63 (63 is wider). I was simply going off the information provided by the manufacturer specs. Sorry to have caused any confusion.

2017 c63s
Since amg began and thrived by building motors, I consider the one man one motor philosophy the core of what makes an amg.

I consider the c43 along the lines with the BMW m sport and the audi s-line. The a4 s-line has a lot of the same styling and components but the motor is just not the same as the s4. The BMW m sport has the aggressive styling but a completely different motor than the Ms.

I feel that Mercedes decided to take away the amg sport brand and just sell them as an amg to bring customers into a higher price bracket. Amg sells and we are all proof of it.

If the car works for you then great. I will, however, argue that there is a difference between the c43 and c63.

Mate, nobody is arguing against that (or shouldn't be anyway). The difference between the c43 and c63 is night and day. This whole thing started with one sour owner lashing out for no good reason. Let's not let one bad apple ruin the bunch

No dramas at all... You're probably right about the stats and figures.

However, visually you can definitely see the difference in the 2 cars. Both front and rear arches are more flared out.

I was only referring to the difference track width between the c300 and the c43. I'll have to dig through some of the other threads to prove my point (I really don't want to, I'm lazy lol), but a member posted the differences in specs. It wasn't even a major difference.. I believe it was within an inch of a difference.

Edit: Here is what I was referring to, credit to Viper.

This is for the sedan because the C63s sedan has 19"" wheels with 245 fronts and 265 rears... FYI

The track width of the 43 coupe is slightly longer than the standard C300:

Hahahah. It's has a sub 5 second 0-60. What qualifies as a high performance car in your book? it's a sports sedan putting down numbers that were almost supercar territory 15 years ago. I guess a 355 or even a 360 wouldn't be considered a high performance car in your book.

And I think by the way this thread is going the only one making a fool of themselves is you.
