C43 Renntech tuning

Just bought a new 2017 C43 sedan, my MB dealer is certified Renntech center, has anyone had the Renntech upgrade for their C43? If so, what is the new HP and torque? Is it a noticeable difference?

I was wondering the same thing? Is it as good as AMR OR OE tuning?

As mentioned in the main post, are these tunes noticeable enough?

Yes, a few differences. But the motor and turbo's are the same resulting in the same power levels once tuned.

The 43 will not magically be capable of 50 more hp than the 450.

Oh you'll notice it for sure. But at $2,300.00 hitting you in your pocketbook, you'll notice a soreness in your butthole region much more than the increase you'll notice in your butt-dyno.

I got OE Tuning's software for $800 and it's +100hp & +150tq

Or for half the price of Renntech, there is Vivid Racing's piggy-back tune. Similar numbers to Renntech and you can install/un-install in minutes so there is no worry about warranty issues.

The AMR tune for 2017 C43 are also expensive:
$2200 for dyno
$2000 for ECU upgrade

What is the difference between these two tunes? Their description is almost the same.

My local dealer is renntech certified and according to then it doesn't void warranty from Mercedes Benz..I would feel more comfortable knowing this, but I'm not sure how strong there tune is compared to OE or AMR.. anyone actually running the renntech tune on there c450 or have a comparison between some tunes and renntech?

Go here and click/read everything:

All these websites give the information you're asking for. It's just numbers to compare. We don't have any magic info for you past that. Search here, search google, search some more and if that doesn't do it for you then you can always call the companies directly and talk to them. They are always eager to talk up their products to a potential customer. Happy modding

Also take note what octane gas these companies are using for the tune. Most will be 93+. So if you're in Cali like I am with the **** water 91, the same tune will yield much less HP making it not worth it.

But you're starting at a lower power as well. It's all relative and it's pretty much always worth it.

No it does not work that way. If the tune was done at a different octane, the timing will be completely off. So it is not relative like you would think.

Most US stage 1 tunes are set for 91-93 octane pump gas.

Also not true, there are more states with 93 on pump than 91. I also called around a few shops and most said 93. For Brabus its 98.
