The car sounds great! I actually saw your unveiling video a few days ago and didn't realize you were actually a member here. Respect for you working hard for your car. White Black and Red looks pretty baller.

Subscribed! Very cool!

Similar car on order, but with different seats, wheels, seat belts and steering wheel. I'm rethinking not getting red belts... Red looks great on white!!

Same question as above, your car came with a Performance Exhaust or standard exhaust?

I have ordered mine with PE, so very curious on your sound.

In his unveiling video I noticed that there is no exhaust button on the center console. Therefore, I believe he doesn't have the PE so this is the standard exhaust.

Interesting. It certainly seems quite "active" in the pops and cracks so I would have guessed PE.

Same thoughts, so just asking for OP's clarification.

*If* it is the just standard exhaust on aritweets car, then I'd love to hear a similar rendition video with the Performance Exhaust option.

This particular car is equipped with the optional "Performance Exhaust"

This is probably the very first C43 video I ever saw way back when I first started looking at the C43...fell in love with the sound and lines of the car.

However, given that many of us aren't going to be primarily driving it on a secluded winding road with little to no background noise...I'd love to hear the PE sounds in a city setting, verbatim what Aritweets did.

Any obligers??

Thanks and yes I've seen this video.

I would really like to hear a C43 PE set in urban surroundings.. aritweets style.

if you don't mind me asking, what's your build spec?

from watching the video, it didn't seem like you have the 8.4" command screen. if you didn't get it, how do you like it and what are the options?

i'm in the process of building/ordering a c43 and i'm trying to decide between premium package 2 and package 3.

My girlfriend was driving so she didn't fully give it the beans (and the missed shift from 2-3). I'll make a better video in the upcoming week.

(Performance Exhaust specced on the car)

Surprisingly it is not the PE exhaust, sometimes you just have to know how to drive the car and find it's hot spots (pops and crackles) :p hahaha

It was my understanding that the performance exhaust isn't any louder. What you're paying for is the ability to close valves and have the option of less noise.
I may be wrong though.

That is also what I have heard. However, that does not explain why some members with the PE experience more pops and bangs, along with a more aggressive exhaust note under certain conditions.

Performance exhaust is noticeably louder and has much nicer low end tones and growl compared to the stock exhaust. The stock sounds okay but the PE sounds amazing! Not sure why he says he didnt want to spend $3k on exhaust to make it sound better. PE from MB is $1.2K ...IMO totally worth it.

Performance exhaust is a completely different exhaust that is not just louder but sounds better and the pops and crackles and engine sound is different as the vehicle is tuned for that exhaust.

The PE is definitely much louder than the stock exhaust. Sport+ and in manual mode the shifts sound like gunshots. I spent close to $4500 modifying my Lexus IS350 exhaust and it could never achieve the same result with such minimal drone.

Anyone have pictures of the stock exhaust with the car on a lift? I can post pictures of the PE.

No true in my experience at all, and I believe it has one less resonator.
