Question About my 2017 C43 Sedan Lease?
Hello everyone, how you doing? I just leased a 2017 C43 Sedan, like almost 2 weeks ago (bought it on the 17th) I was wondering if it's possible for me to get rid of it somehow and get the C63 instead?
Is there anything I can do? or no? I got it straight through the dealership.
I have excellent credit with good income, I put 5k down for that car with 10k a year mileage. (Bought the car in Los Angeles,CA)
I'm currently paying $670 for 2017 C43 Sedan Lease, did I get ripped off or got a good deal? please let me know and help me out here.
I attached the picture,thank you.

I just got a C43 myself via my M-B dealership and used the M-B official "First Class Lease" program. The short answer is, yes, but its probably going to be expensive. You would have to buy the car out of the lease and probably have to pay the sales tax. Or possibly the dealer would do that for you. Hopefully at least part of the money you put down would result in a cap cost reduction or something that might lower the purchase price a bit. Then you (assuming you bought it) are going to have to turn around and sell the car outright or to the dealership as a trade-in. If you sell it as a trade-in through the dealership towards a c63, I think most states wont charge sales tax on the full price of the c63 but only on the difference between the cost of the C63 and the trade-in. Each of those steps is going to cost you money.
Another way would be to check one of the lease web sites and see if you can get the lease transferred to anyone else. That would likely require a financial incentive on your part offered to the transferree.
The last option is to keep the car and enjoy it ... for most mortals (including me), the C43 provides more than enough power. They are a blast to drive and get plenty of looks from the general public.

Not a problem at all, just use some of that good income and your shirt.
You would need to provide all of the details of your lease to know if you got a decent/great deal or not. You may want to do that before getting into the C63

Someone can assume your lease. Sites such as leasetrader.com or swaplease are two of the most popular. Expect to lose some(most) of that $5k down payment on the swap.
