C43 Cavansite Metallic Blue
So, after a long wait and order being delayed for who knows what reason? My car has finally arrived.
PDI'd at the dealer and taken straight down to my detailer for a stage 1 polish and ceramic paint protection.
Picking it up this Saturday and every day now is going sooooooo slowly, especially after being sent these pics from my detailer!
Will post better ones once collected.

Its now home!
Initial impressions after 400 miles:
WOW!.....just WOW!
It is ballistically quick and the exhaust just gets better and better, especially the down-shifts even in town traffic,....I just cant stop driving it in sport plus with the exhaust open.
Push it hard and it feels like a go-kart, the thing is so responsive on turn in, throttle has a "little" lag, not really worth noting (so why did I?...in comparrison to the 63)
Its a car that I just do not want to ever get out of, its so easy to drive in any normal mode, even eco poo mode is effin awesome compared to my last 420D......It really is just a lovely, lovely car to drive in any given mode.
Sport plus is an animal, it really reminds me of the M4, just wants to be pushed and pushed, but ease it off and its still happy, just with "snatchy" gear changes in town traffic.
The sports seats are so comfortable, didnt adjust my postion in a 300 mile drive once.
The one thing I have noticed though, is due to the shape of them, if you like the rear back rest being really quite upright, it will only go so far due to the side bolster shaping....but that position is just where I like it.
The overall ride quality and road noise, in my opinion, leaps and bounds above that of BMW, as is the quality of the interior.
This is on Dunlop non runflat summer tyres, which are okay, but from my experience so far offer nothing like the grip that MPSS's do when upto temp.....have had it in some ..er....very easy to find 4 wheel drifts!
The MPG on the run back yesterday was quite impressive considering 1st time driving style 29mpg.
Today, not so good, being 20mpg.
It has to be run on 98ron, so today with an 80mile tank range left, it took 70 quid to fill it up and is stating now a total tank range of 380 miles!
Thats quite a difference to the 420D being 60 quid to fill from empty and returning 550-600 miles, but then I was expecting this so cant grumble............much!
I have the Premium Plus pack on this, so Command Online, etc.
Its a good system, but very clunky to navigate, BMW's system in that respect is far better , much easier to use and quicker to learn.
I also REALLY miss the stereo buttons in the BM that you can turn into quick buttons for sat nav destinations, fav phone no.s etc.....I cant find that the Merc has anything like that feature anywhere, but I'm still learning all about it, as it does so much more than my last 4 series.
An obligitory pic of it in dealers on collection day (yesterday) and with 400 miles of road dirt on, now its at home today!
LOVIN IT!

Congratz! Really loving the colour and wheel combo.
Many of your comments are spot on with my experience of my test drive (mine arrives hopefully end Dec). I'm coming from an M3 so I also missed those 8 programmable buttons on the dash.
I remember everyone hated the BMW I-drive for the first 3-4 years and its only really become useful after a lot of refining. Hopefully the MB infotainment system will shape up the same as its not really that own in its current form. I just hope it can be updated with software in future and not require a totally new car.
Enjoy the car and watch out for the icy roads, UK is freezzzing at the moment!

2017 C43 Sedan
Got my C43 sedan a few weeks back. Want to do a full review at some point, juts haven't had the chance. Coming from a 535d, myself, so I wanted to respond to your comments on COMAND vs iDrive. iDrive is more intuitive in many ways, and I miss my buttons as well.
The equivalent in COMAND can be pulled up via the * on the touchpad. This has your "favorites". You can add new ones by holding down the *, same way you would program your buttons. Not nearly as efficient to scroll through a menu, but also still better than getting through the mess that is the COMAND menu system. Who thought of this 3-tier menu garbage? A simple drill down, "left" side, directory-based system like Windows explorer (and iDrive) would be so much more intuitive.

These tyres are not liking these conditions at all at the moment.....I'm thinking for the first time in my life, I may actually look at getting some winters stuck on it? Dunno?

Yep I've found the "fav" button now, still learning hugely with it, but have found now I've done the Linguatronic set up, its actually just easier / faster to use voice commands, so now getting used to looking like a plonker talking to my car whilst driving it!

Nice colour! Nice coupe!
The colour has a few different personality depends on light.
Huge congrats bro.
Drove mine for about an hour and then it went into the paint protection shop...still there
