Sounds awesome! Comparing to my PE, mine is a bit louder especially the snap crackles and pop. There was another post that summed it up well the PE when it "backfires" sounds like gunshots.
But yours sound definitely better than stock non PE. Good job!

That that sounds pretty damn good. We're the straight pipes welded or clamped on?
Now the big question... Have you driven on the highway yet cruising for a good distance? I'm curious to see if you can deal with the brassy hollow G35 with a hole in the exhaust sound. This engine sounds kinda wonky when it's not wide open.

Others here have done this mod already. General consensus was that the drone becomes very annoying for highway/freeway cruising. OTOH, most people that did this reported that the car sounded great under acceleration at higher rpms.

Hey Aritweets. I just took hold of my c43 coupe, i wanted to take off the resonator on mine but by any chance would you have pictures of the stock resonators? And also what did you use to replace the stock ones? Just straight pipe or x pipe? I love the way your car sounds and more than likely will go your route.

This sounds really good! I could definitely live with that day to day. The car sounds super organic modded like this - frankly a little more organic than the PE. If I had know it would have sounded this good I may have not opted for the PE - unfortunately for Canadian packages, it means I would have lost out on 19's and the AMG Performance Steering wheel though.
If you are upshifting the PE in Sport+ at 4500+ RPM, it sounds exactly like another poster mentioned - a gunshot. I passed someone slow that veered into my lane and the car changed gears the second I passed him. Needless to say, the other driver looked mortified / terrified.

Sound is subjective... and I'm an outlier, it's not my cup o'tea.
I prefer the ability to switch on and off the exhaust sound, and so the factory tuned PE sound would be and is my choice.
Now had I purchased my C43 without PE like the OP did, then this exhaust hack might make sense to have a car with a more performance oriented sound, and save a few bucks.

The shop welded on some straight pipes not an x-pipe. Just going to save the pipes the cut off and when the lease is up just have the shop weld the original parts back on!

They did weld the custom straight pipes and the drone isn't bad at all (surprisingly) when im coasting or wanting to take it easy i throw it in comfort or eco and it's not bad at all, especially on the highway.
Then when I mob around in the city and want to turn heads with the pop and crackle, it's Sport+ all the way!!

Ari, my question is whether you can have a phone conversation over Bluetooth, while cruising at 60 on the highway. For me, that would be the test. If the person on the other end says, "are you driving through the car wash" then it's too loud.
