Hey Guys,

in my opinion the standard C43 rims are not the most beautiful rims from MB. I like the C63 Rims but they are to big for the C43. So I have to choose one of the 19 ' rims. I ordered my C43 with the black and silver multispoke. After I saw them today on a E-Class I've noticed that they dont look good. No I'm thinking about to take the silver titanium 5 Spoke. So far I saw only the 5 Spoke black an silver rims from the C43 and I don't like them, because they look restless. On pictures the 5 spoke silver titanium look more harmonious.

Who have a picture of his c43/C450 with the 5 Spoke silver titanium rim that I attached


What do you think about them on a C43 Selinite with night package?

A picture of my old c450 with the titanium rims and a pic of my new c43 with the black/silver rims..I can't decide which I like better either..


One thing I have noticed for sure is the black wheels show brake dust a lot more and look dirty much faster, especially if they get wet they look really messy. But when they are clean they definitely pop more than the titanium

I was really disappointed when they told me I couldn't have the C63 wheels, which I think look far better, and eventually settled for these.

Yes you are right... The C63 Rims look much better :-(
But I have to arrange with the C43 Rims. I think I like the 5 Spoke more than the Multispoke. But I am still looking for a good picture of the Silver titanium on C450 or C43.

Replicas of the C63 rims will probably come out soon, I'm getting a C43 with the multi spoke but the C63 rims are on my radar if i see replica models available.

Sorry I know those aren't the best pictures, but they are pics I had on my phone. I originally had the multi-spokes on my order, as they look better in pictures, but the split spokes look great in person.

For whatever reason they don't photograph well at all, but I went in to my dealer recently and saw that they had an Obsidian black C43 with the black split spokes (in the above pictures), and was floored at how much better they look in person. I tried to take many pictures at different angles, but none really show how good they look to your naked eye (maybe with a better camera than what's on my iPhone this would be possible to capture).

I also agree that the black cross-spokes on the C63 are better than the options on the C43, but since we cannot get them, I think the split spokes are definitely the next best (you really have to see them in person before you decide, as the multi-spokes look better in pictures than the split spokes do). I decided I am going to get Vossens once my C43 arrives, most likely VPS-305's or VPS-306's (which are very similar to the cross-spokes on the C63, just nicer) in black, as they are much nicer than any of the factory options anyways (in my opinion).

Hmmmm I was/still am torn on this issue for months and ultimately, ordered my C43C with the basic black/silver 5-Spoke rims. They looked the cleanest to me and the dealership is going to powdercoat them black. The C63's options are yes, much better.

It's honestly all preference. Yes, all-black rims show more dirt, but that's with anything painted black. My F-Type rims are painted black and even dirty I get lots of compliments on the black/black color combo.

The 5 spoke don't look bad at all actually. I got them for my winter wheels.
