Free stuff from Dealership??
I was just wondering, I am getting my new car in about a month or so and I wanted to know what free items or nice-to-haves can I ask them?
I really like to have AMG floor matts, key-chains or like my cars replica ... anyone has had any past experience on this?

I wouldn't press too hard. Not worth annoying someone at the dealer. Do whatever you can to keep the best relationship possible with your dealer. Maybe hint st all weather mats or something but don't get your hopes up.

When we purchased a Porsche a few years ago, they gave us key chains, a chrome miniature/model of our car, and also sent us a Porsche heritage certificate which is normally about $100 from Porsche North America (and it lists the model you own, its serial #, MSRP, and all the options your car is equipped with). Wishing you luck with the new car!

Depends on your sales guy. When I took delivery on my CLA I got a full set of their heavy duty winter floor trays, some key chains, a Mercedes umbrella and chrome door handle recess pieces for all four doors.

Saturn used to throw a celebration for new customers. Lexus does somewhat the same thing and serves food.
Dude go ask for some parting gifts and not think twice about it. I got an AMG Academy trip to Leguna Seca in addition to other stuff I asked for. But new customers got an AMG Academy voucher as well so I'm not special.

I had a dealer get annoyed with me for asking me to remove their badge after they put it on against my wishes after dropping $50k, has nothing to do with being timid, and everything to do with not being an overly demanding customer... all depends on your dealer and salesman. I've learned to let small stuff fly and try and wait until there are bigger issues to ask for anything. That said, I have literally no experience buying a new 100k AMG.

Thanks everyone for your input, the salesman is kind of my friend so I know him from before but again as some of you said, I dont wanna push it too hard either .. all i probably "indirectly" ask for is a set of floor mats and a nice key chain ... anything on top of that would be a bonus!

I got a coffee mug, rubber OEM mats, a Mercedes branded pen the same color as my car, a wine cork that looks like a gear shifter, several keychains, a MB baseball cap when I purchased my CLA.
I got a rubber OEM mats, two keychains, and a firm handshake when I purchased my C43.

I'll just be happy for my car to be delivered at the (next) estimated delivery date. Anything else is a bonus!

Asked for a free cap since he took my deposit for 2 months, picked the AMG Lewis Hamilton Mercedes Benz Formula 1 hat $50. Cheap freebie for a dealer and free promo for them!

Damn, I should ask for one of those when I pick up my car. I actually really like that Petronas turquoises.

We didn't ask for swag but we got:
2 nice keychains
A nice insulated travel mug
A rubbber trunk liner and collapsable storage box
A cool wooden box with the dealer logo on it and 2 good bottles of table wine inside
A nice card from the GM thanking us for our business.
MB has definitely been the best car buying experience for us to date.

Any new vehicle purchase ive done, they ALWAYS give you some sort of gift, a hamper, a cap and key rings, Champagne all sorts.
It does depend on the dealership though. i bought my younger brother and sister audi a1's (they are twins) vehicles were a year old but still all i got was a VW GTi cap haha.
So its all down to the sales guy, and what the dealership budget for that allows.
Picking up my car Friday so i'll let you know what i get given.

I get all sorts of free stuff from my dealership, but I've spent over a million bucks with them since 2008. I have received 2 car covers as "Christmas Gifts", a rooftop enclosed ski carrier for my GLA45, hats, jackets, shirts, keychains, VIP autoshow tickets, Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks tickets and more. If you want to know where to go for the good stuff make sure you join the AMG Private Lounge, they have monthly giveaways for some really cool stuff that you can't get anywhere else and some exclusive stuff that you can't even buy. I have received color lithographic prints suitable for framing from the them, a solid pewter CLK-DTM scale replica, hats and more.

Wow, I've never had a dealer get annoyed by my asking them not to put a badge or sticker on our cars regardless of price. Sounds like your dealer is kind of *****y. Hope you have a good detail shop that can remove it for you. Cheers!

It's free, all you will need is your AMG VIN number and your name. It is owned and operated by MB/AMG. They also release info like DOG's there a few days before they hit the public. Actual AMG employees work the site so they can answer very specific questions as well as get involved and handle problems you might have. They have private chat sessions where AMG engineers and even people higher up the food chain are online live answering questions. It's a nice source for info, it doesn't get the traffic Mb World gets but still a cool and private site, no trolls over there because you have to be a registered AMG owner to participate.

LOL, my dealership taped on the front license plate bracket on one my SLS Black Series as a joke...they got me, I was like WTF is that??? Most dealerships know better than to stick their stupid dealership stickers on a $100k car, I am always amazed when I see a $100+ car driving down the road with one of those tacky stickers on the bumper.
