Paid for but didn't get electronic folding mirrors

My cardinal red C43, which I love, came with the Mercedes Premium 3 ($5,500) package that included electronic folding side mirrors among 10 other things.

Unfortunately, I’ve discovered that I do not have this option that I paid for.

Dealer first checked the mirror adjustment buttons on the door (wasn't there) then tried to fold the side mirrors thru the Command "vehicle" menus on the floating iPad. No luck.

The dealer now is checking on whether or not they can add this option for me at no charge.

If they can’t, what do you think my options should be? This does not sound like something a dealer can do. I may be wrong.

If they can’t, what do you think my options should be? Do I even have any options? Car has 800 miles. It's California which has strong consumer protection laws. Future C43 buyers looking for this option should double check it is on their car before they pay.

There are other threads on this exact issue. Some people got money. Others got it fitted by the dealer. If you play your cards right you should be able to get both. Search and you should be able to find the other threads and you can message the people and see exactly what happened.
I do remember that some people actually had the motors so the dealer added the button and made some changes in the command system with not too much of an isssue.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the cost of the P3 package is $5550, but since MB decided not/NOT to include this feature in the production package, the cost was reduced to $5500 ... which is what you paid. Think there is a post to this effect in one of the earlier threads on this issue. Interesting that MB's USA website still shows the P3 package at $5550 - which includes power folding side mirrors - even though none were manufactured with this feature.

On my C63S Coupe, my dealer gave me $3000 cash and 3 years pre-paid maintenance for not having the folding mirrors.

I plan to order the window switch and have the car coded in the next month or two to get the functionality.

What package did you order and they simply forgot the folding option? I ordered the P4 on my C63S sedan, and I'm afraid they might screw that up.

I ordered P3 (highest you can get on the Coupe) which includes all the nannies and folding mirrors.

I did European Delivey and purchased my car with cash, so I caught it at the factory pickup and contacted the GM of my dealership back in October last year. They said it couldn't be retrofitted (false) but they compensated me well instead - I'll have them retrofitted soon 😉
