Thoughts on VMR Wheels for C43 Coupe on H&R Springs

The VMR V804's have really caught my eye. They are flow formed, lightweight at around 23 lbs and a set of four can be had for under 2k. Thoughts?

VMR said they haven't done wheels on the C43 yet, but suggested the following specs-19x8.5 ET35 for front and rear. Not sure if this will fit but id prefer a staggered setup.

I just spoke to VMR: For the V804 they can offer
Front: 19x8.5 ET 35
Rear: 19x9.5 ET35 or 45

I think 19x8.5 ET 35 for front and18x9.5 ET 45 for rears would work with that setup?

it'll probably need spacers up front.

Hello,

Front will sit slightly agressive at +35 but the rear at +35 will poke. Do +45 if you can.

Thank you!

For the c43, 35 offset with that wheel width might not clear the control arm.

Hello,

+35 might fit with H&R. We have +30 with H&R and it's perfect.

i really doubt it... while your +30 offset will clear. At +35 that would be 5mm closer to the control arm. I remember my test fit started at +42 with a 7mm spacer. It was rubbing against the control arm. I barely made it with a 10mm spacer and i'm cardboard thin from the control arm.

Thanks guys, I was using previous specs on wheels i found from other users on the c450 wheel thread. Below are three wheel specs which people have used that work, and they seem pretty close to the VMR setup above. thoughts?

1. Front: 19x8.5 +34 - they fit without spacer, but better with 3mm.
Rear: 19x9.5 +50 - no spacer needed at all
2.
Front: 8.5 x 19 45 offset with 11mm spacers
Rear: 9.5 x 19 46 offset no spacers needed
3. Front 19" x 8.5", +34 Offset,
Rear 19" x 9.5", +50 Offset

Rear 19" x 9.5", +50 Offset
These are all good. But, to be on the safe side, I wouldn't venture anywhere outside +30 - +32 offset with an 8.5" width up front. Once you see how close these tolerances are to your control arm, you'll see what i'm talking about. It'll almost make you cringe and the hair on your back stand, hahaha! Do you have a wheel and tire place that can do a mock up test fitting with diff size spacers? If you were in los angeles i'd help you out.

Good luck!
