More unhelpful responses from the 3 stooges...

Still no CEL or issues with my car.. enjoying beating the **** out of it.

Do any of you even have a baseline dyno of your tunes? Probably not huh? I guess when you spend $2000 USD you can just take someones word for it.

Seeing as I am not local to AMR and shipped my ECU in, no I do not. However, seeing multiple posts, dyno sheets, track videos, good reviews, ect...... it was apparent that my decision was a good one. They supply more than an enough information and proven results, so for only $2000, I found it very worth it.

I am happy to hear you are enjoying your car, though. You must make all those moms jealous at the PTO meetings with that cabriolet

The only thing that would make the AMR tune better was if I could put my motherinlaw in the box and ship it to them so they can tune her!!!

Good one.. I love my cab, and if you ponied up the extra cash you might as well. I'm pretty sure I'll only be buying cabs from now on.

So you don't actually have any idea what power your car is making and where it's making it? You think every motor is identical? lol

Good luck to you.

It's amazing that "some" members on this board with AMR tunes are crapping all over this thread. Why not make a thread about AMR tune and provide feedback for us with videos and track times. I am not here to debate which tune is better, I am more interested in track times and if said tunes are worth the money. I don't go by the statement of saying because I have a Mercedes, I should buy the most expensive this or that.

Also, to be honest, if I spent $2000 for a tune especially without downpipes, then I would be definitely tracking my car or I would have gotten an independent before and after dyno. Why stop there, I would also order the most expensive downpipes too which are from Armytrix for $1,600. So for about $4,000 I will have 10-20 "claimed" more Hp and Tq over other vendors because it's only logical that the most expensive mods are the best

Meanwhile I will continue to research these tunes with hopes that more members will actually track their cars and provide independent results to the vendor's claims.

So now that all the tuning ego talk is out of the way.

Can anyone comment on the change in Exhaust tones after there respective ECU tune (AMR/EURO/OE)? My 2018 C43 coupe just arrived last week with PE. I am happy with the sound but just wish it had more pops, bangs and crackles (I am coming from CLA 45 which had all sorts of sounds to it) and am looking for a tune which may amplify the exhaust sounds. If anyone who has gotten a tune can chime in on any changes that would be great!

I am considering a resonator delete but that is the extent of welding work I am looking to do, so I would prefer an ECU tune with an increase in exhaust notes.

Invest in one of the ASR modules instead if exhaust noise is your concern.

Both the EU and AMR tunes will increase the pops and bangs. I have EU and its much louder. Had AMR prior, samething

Just curious why would you change from AMR to EU, because strictly numbers AMR seems to lead the way. Thanks

I live in Tampa and EU is in Orlando which is about 1 hour and half away, so I just wanted something closer to me in the event I had issues. I love EU, they are awesome. Love the power

Since you have had both, your opinion I think probably weighs the most. In your opinion which one did you like the more? I.E. If you had to rate them 1-10 in terms of 1. Power and 2. Increased exhaust; which tune would you recommend?

I'm crazy anxious to hear the opinion of someone who has had both!

Thanks again!

AMR rv3.1 is insane.. if you compare a v2 tune to a 3.1 it is obvious the newer tune will be more powerful.. you would need to compare the AMR street tune to the Eurocharged v2 ..... or compare the AMR RV3.1 to the Eurocharged v3

Stats are proving that the RV3.1 and EC V3 are close in number, but EC has run the best times to date according to the rankings on Dragy - which is relative to what I've seen on this board.

I feel like I am late to the party since I recently purchased my vehicle and joined the forum lol. Last week, I heard about this "Dragy", so I downloaded the app to check the leaderboards and see what you guys are doing as far as mods for this thing (and comparative results of course). According to the app, the fastest 0-60 is by a gentleman named Scott and I believe he has this Rv3.1 that you guys are talking about?

Like I said, I am late to the party and just trying to learn about this car lol

From looking at the 0-60, I see that the 3.1 is faster, so maybe if Scott had more road, he could get a better time and not have to brake? That would be interesting to see. I am shocked you guys have enough room on public roads to get these times lol I wouldn't even know where to go to attempt doing that.

According to his youtube post post he was having trouble with grip because his tires are crap and the temps were in the low 40’s...he also had aftermarket catted downpipes which have been shown to lose power over stock..the only way to truly compare is a stock car with same weather conditions and same tires

How about this run- in my 4200lbs cabriolet on winter tires, winter gas in 2 degree weather. You can tell by my G force that I barely got the car out of a dig.

Gotta give AMR credit for the limp modes though. Top in the leaderboard there.

They do lose power. But what AMR does is add more boost. I can only imagine how stressed Scott's turbo's are to make any comparative power.
