MB-Tex Dinamica or Leather for interior
Struggling to decide. Both have red top stitching and both available with the performance seats. I've had leather in my past 3 cars, the Dinamica seems kinda neat, and it'll match the Nappa/Dinamica steering wheel. I'll also save $1620.
Thoughts on it?

While the Dinamica is a nice, I don't like that it's only available in black. I didn't want a black interior so I was forced to spring for leather.

IMO, it's a waste to spend $55K+ on a vehicle that doesn't even have a leather interior.
Besides, nothing beats the smell of leather, and you can't get ventilated seats with the MB-Tex/DINAMICA.

Well, you'll still get the smell of leather, there's still plenty of it. And ventilated seats doesn't matter because I'm getting the performance seats and that already takes away that option.

I have them and I will take a pic later today and send it your way. Personally for me it was a must have as I found them more comfortable (again this is for me) and another plus you get is more space in the rear (easier to get my son in and out of his car seat an he doesn't touch the back with his feet). Be aware if any person on the heavier weight side of the scale goes in the car they won't be comfortable.

Performance seats feel better to me, they hug you more and look more sporty.. I'm only 185lb. I'm also getting a coupe, people sitting in my rear seats are the least of my worries, as I hardly have anyone sit back there in my previous cars.

Ohhh I forgot to mention that there seems to be a lot more stitching on the dinamica seats and everywhere else it's used for that matter. I personally felt like there was too much going on when I looked at the inside of the door or the back seats with the dinamica - there is stitching everywhere. Some may love it, I do not.

I had the same dilemma back when i was ordering my car. The non-slip dinamica characteristic was what prevented me from getting it. Although, very good for the track, on daily drives getting in and out, if i were wearing shorts it makes it bunch up on my crotch, hahaha! And it untucks my shirt from the back...! I knew i wanted the performance seats and when i saw the designo saddle brown... well...

Yeah, the designo seats are amazing and I would absolutely spend the money to get them. Problem is they don't offer them in the coupe and it's really annoying. I didn't want to settle for the sedan just to get the designo seats, I prefer the rear of the coupe better.

And for the record alexia, I bought my AMG wheel sets on ebay (posting so in at least 10 threads)...paying WAY less money than from the dealership, and I made 2/3 my money back selling the first set of 19" wheels from my C300 on Craigslist after putting over 5,000 miles on them. In addition, OEM sets of AMG wheels are worth more money than the cheap Chinese knockoffs when it comes time to sell.
Put that in your butt...

After 14 months, I absolutely love my Dinamica seats. They show no wrinkles or stains and cleanup very easily. The vinyl bolsters hold up much better than my friends c450 with leather .That performance seat looks great, but I'd do without personally. The coupe already has the high back look, and the suede seat really keeps your *** planted. (wait for the tie in)
As far as your steering wheel is concerned, leather only. Alcantara is a terrible choice for a anything you squeeze and rub on a regular basis (wait for it). The natural oils on your hands will matte up the wheel pretty quickly. KY Jelly will leave stains on the wheel too (there it is, full circle reference to the mini fight within the thread).

My buddy is the sales manager at a local dealer and said the same. He also said to just get the mbtex over leather and save my money. He told me the only must have option is the performance exhaust. He dailys anything and everything on the lot so I have no reason so doubt him, besides being a close friend for 15+ years.
