Best street Exhaust for C450?
Hey guys,
I decided to get a street exhaust for the C450. I currently have the OE tune and want a better sound when driving. I dont want a track exhaust that will drone all around town and the highway.
What is recommended for this car and any ideas on lead time?
Thank you in advance!!

The best value would be the AWE Touring. It's louder than stock, has a much fuller and deeper tone without any drone, and the price is right. It's a true dual set up that should actually provide a very small increase in performance (4-7hp). Downside is that they still aren't offering a version for the C43/450 with valves yet.
The absolute best sounding exhaust that I've heard running on a 450/43 was the Meisterschaft. It sounds and looks amazing. The drawback is the price. The last time I checked, the complete setup with mid-pipe and valve control running about $4400 before shipping and labor. IMO, that's a lot of cash for an exhaust no matter how nice it sounds.

No tune here, yet! But last week I went on a track (Zolder, heavy braking and accelerating all the time!) and temperatures reached 120C and 95C. It scared me to tune it actually becaus I tought these numbers where already quite high since the outside temp was only 22C

Awe touring exhaust
Hey I was following the thread and am also thinking of swapping out my stock exhaust for the AWE touring. Any chance you got it installed and can compare the stock and AWE?

When I put the track alone on my C43 coupe it got louder but nothing crazy like when I had my 14 S5 from stock to AWE Touring, that was a significant difference.
A catback alone on a twin/bi turbo will make it louder of course but will never be able to get crazy loud due to the way turbos suppress sound. The only way the sound level on this car will get dramatically different/loud is if you swap the downpipes (which I did after the AWE track alone wasn't loud enough for me)

You have a video of yours? That must sound mental!
