Funny! You want to believe some crap for brains over a guy who had and got solved a substantially similar problem, be my guest.

Ok, genius, what is the proper way to fix this problem?

Do you even own a C43?

You are now on your own, smart apple. Enjoy the rodeo, because given your attitude, it will continue. Ride em, cowboy.

Do you have the Sedan? People have said there are far less if any rattles in the coupe.

As far as tires go I'm having the dealer swap them out. Run flats are just garbage, luckily you can just get better tires and problem solved. I've also heard it helps with smoothing out the ride and dampening the noise in the cabin.
Hey OP,

I have literally all the issues with this car that Alexasa has mentioned.

1.Suspension has a lot of bodyroll compared to how stiff it is and compared my previous RWD 435i,

2. Sound system is pretty bad compared to my previous cars

3. my C43 Sedan rattles EVERYWHERE.

4. I also don't like the steering and how vague it is mid corner and the fact that the alcantara is COMPLETELY gone on one side of the steering wheel

5. I have also warped 3 RIMS to date as well as cracked and replaced one.

6. The rocking back and forth of the transmisson is just how you modulate your foot. You're coming to a stop and the car is shifting down from 2 to 1. But as it shifts to 1st gear, you are giving it gas while its jerking forward from the downshift causing the rocking back and forth issue. I've only had the jerking happen once and I learned to modualte my foot better and hasn't happened in 6+ months.

If you are looking for a sports car, I'd also recommend checking out a BMW M240i, or if you've test driven a BMW 340i, do so again but this time in RWD combined with the MSport package and exhaust as they are equipped with performance suspension compared to the XDRIVE which only get the sport suspension.

Mine was rocking during acceleration, not while coming to a stop. I could've easily avoided this by shifting earlier but the point is, I shouldn't have to. The trans should know (in auto) when to shift gears and when to hold gears.

The dealer swapped out the trans controller module and reprogrammed. Told me to give it 2 weeks or 1000km. I'll post a work order when I got time.

Aren't US-made products to Canada (or vice-versa) exempt from customs duty under NAFTA? Was the Dinan part in question made in the US?

Just asking.

My wife has a verified pay pal account so I'd use hers for the protection. Let me know next steps.

I may have been born yesterday, but it was in the early morning.

So, dealing with an export to Canada, payment of Canadian customs duties to avoid an agreement to evade them, and a third party PayPal account, eh?

Why don't you use wife's PayPal and simply order a new one from a U.S. Dealer? What's that? They don't export them because it is a paperwork nightmare? You wanted to evade Canadian duties? Well, it is now clear....
This is the most idiotic nonsense I've ever read. She has a verified paypal account, it's more secure buying from hers than my unverified account when purchasing from a forum weasel. The item still has to cross the border.

I did order it new from the US, for $450 CDN. I was trying to save money from buying from someone that didn't enjoy the tune, rather than paying full price. I couldn't buy direct from Dinan because they don't accept Canadian credit cards.

Better yet, don't respond. Based on the amount you post here - quite uselessly - I know you'll just continue to waste my time.

Enjoy your ford focus.

Canadians pay enough tax as it is man. You make it sound like he wanted to traffic humans across the border. It is just some border tax, everyone has done it at some point or the other.

lol you're out of your mind.

How does using my wife's paypal account make me a tax cheat? We live at the same address - the item is still shipping to the same place and into the same country. We don't 'declare' things that are shipped to us, they arrive and it's the sellers responsibility to put a declared value on the package. It's determined by the border if they charge us or not.

You need to crawl back into your hole.

Not a problem. Gunga, what happened to the guys in Svalbard?

My experience suggests two things: these are seldom hardware issues, and you must find a service MANAGER who is willing to spend the time seeking someone in Germany to provide car specific software. Anything else is a waste of your time.

He told me the polar bears had eaten all the fish that were adequate to replace my crappy transmission.. I wanted a nice slippery fish so it would be smooth when I slapped it around to switch gears..he said my motherinlaw smelled similar to the type of fish that could replace the 9g transmission..

Ha, ha. You can tune a piano but you can't tune a fish.

For those who don't know it, service managers are under severe local constraints in terms of time spent researching issues, which isn't paid by Mercedes as part of a warranty claim, and corporate Mercedes that looks askance at dealers who can't solve problems: Scylla and Charybdis.

It is far easier to **** on your leg and tell you it is raining.
