I did custom order it on 10 April. Tried to order a '17 but found out the order bank was closed for them at that point. Selinite silver w/ Black interior. A few key packages I included were AMG studio, advanced lighting and multimedia. Came off the carrier on Saturday and taking delivery this afternoon. I'm in the D.C. Area..

I got mine in November of 2016!!! I love it.. it's exactly the same as 2018 !!

So how long from the day it was built until today (delivery day) did it take? April 10th you submitted your order but that's not the production date...

It was built near the end of June, shipped over and arrived in Baltimore mid-July where is sat till last week.

Yeah I just confirmed with sales rep manager at MB, takes about 3-4 weeks transit time. Reason you waited so long was the 18s still had to be ok'd before shipped out to customer which was set for sometime in August. Now that they've passed customers will start to get them. Unfortunately for me my dealer screwed up on my order and didn't realize there was an error causing it to get denied, so we had to start fresh and my earliest production date was second week in September. I can hopefully expect delivery sometime in the beginning of October.

18s only have package changes, and the new edition of AMG performance studio package which I got. If you have that package you'd be able to tell, otherwise it's practically all the same.

it looks like the night package, a new set of matte 19" wheels, smaller than the amg sid skirt accent features, and the nappa steering wheel with amg logo at bottom. only available on coupe.

no actual performance. purely cosmetic.

pretty pointless unless you like the wheels. If you dont like the wheels save the money and get night package ala carte. i like the wheels, but i have a sedan so no harm no foul for me

Also blacks out the grille, instead of the chrome pins which was big for me. Wheels are awesome in black, side skirt is black (though it won't stick out bc I have a black car) and the spoiler is black (but I got the carbon fiber package)

forgot about the grill. That can be done after the fact for not much money as long as you do it yourself.

The wheels are the big ticket item in that package. If i had the coupe i would probably do it

Wow the build options for the '18s (Sedan) are much better than the '17s . For about the same MSRP as my '17 Sedan, I would get these additional options on an '18: Advanced lighting (Full LEDs), AMG steering, Electronic trunk closer, carplay and android auto while only losing the Carbon fiber mirror caps which I didn't care for anyway (Can get them for a lot cheaper after market if I wanted to). Damn! the '18s are actually cheaper than the '17s.

are you still waiting for that package to be available? I remember seeing that it wasn't going to be available initially for the 18's due to some production/material delay?

Yeah it's included in my build. I had to wait which is why the build date got pushed to its current one (9/1/17)

Everything listen on the PO will be on the car!
