I have owned my C43 for a couple of months now, and I can't seem to find any information regarding how to (or if it's even possible to) extend the sun visors so that they block the sun shining in from the rear of the driver's (or passenger's) side window. I've tugged on it a bit and it doesn't seem to extend beyond the normal length of the visor, but maybe I'm not using enough force or I'm missing a release latch somewhere, or maybe that feature was just left out.

Can anyone clue me in, please?

They do not extend (at least on my 2017 coupe). Disappointing on a $65k car if you ask me...

I got ceramic tints. Problem solved.

They do not. And it sucks, my 2013 C-350 sun visors did and this car does not smh.

is it possible to have the dealer install a sun visor from the E Class in the AMG C43? The 2017 E Class visors extend.

agreed, the feature should be offered on a car in this price range, or on any car!

yea i saw that. we need to get the part numbers and this seems like an extremely easy retrofit.

my dealer quoted me today $220 (each) to install extending visors, or $188 just for the parts. Seems a bit much, but I guess MB parts aren't cheap.

any chance you have part numbers? I am sure we can get them cheaper online from one of the wholesale venders.

Not as of yet; the parts have been delivered to the dealer. I need to either pick them up or arrange and pay the dealer for install.


Does anyone know of an instructional video on how to install them on my own? I'd rather save the ~$80 and do it myself if it's easy.
