C43 performance exhaust valve stopped working
Has this happened to anyone else?
Waiting for the dealer to call me back to setup appointment.

I looked under the car and found the culprit. Wire melted on exhaust. Exhaust is permanently loud now lol

Hey Imprezala, I have the same problem. Can you tell me which fuse blew? And where it is located?
I have the same problem, but it originated from a rear end accident. The body shop put it back together, but the car is getting an error code saying exhaust flap 2 shorted to ground. They said, they might have fixed the short, but the flaps are still open and not closing. So it might be the fuse.
Would really appreciate it.

I just had this same thing happen on my 2018 C43 when i took it to the track 2 days ago. I don't know how long that wire has been touching the exhaust, but i think pushing the car finally got the exhaust hot enough to melt the wire. It melted through the insulation, shorted the red wire to the exhaust, and blew a 7.5A fuse which is NOT located in ANY fuse box. It's actually under the passenger side carpet, just below the speaker that is installed in the firewall.
I had to remove the following: Passenger side rocker panel/fusebox cover. Outer dash cap. Under dash kick panel. Glove box. Then, pull back the carpet and remove the cover underneath which is retained by 3 6mm (10mm socket) nuts. Remove nut holding a module that covers the mount point for the fuse holder. Push out the fuse holder.
Having never torn into one of these, i was surprised at how much stuff is under the passenger side carpet. It took me about 2 hours to tear it all apart, replace the fuse and put it back together.
This really ruined my track day, as it did and WILL put the car into soft limp mode, as any fault in the exhaust system would be considered "emissions related".

I was actually about to put everything back together, when i realized a video may help somebody immensely if this happens.
The diagram i found that illustrates where the fuse is located is about as clear as mud. Hope this can help somebody, because while i was looking for info about the issue, i stumbled across this thread myself.
