Any opinions on what is the best caliper color for the C43?

If you look the three AMG models C43, C63 and C63s all have different brake caliper colors- the C63s has the nice Red ones.

I have a black C43 with the Black AMG 19", 5 spoke, I love the color Rosso Corso for my brakes, which is Ferrari Red. Though I do not want to make it look like I am trying to build a Faux C63s.

What color rotor is on the AMG Carbon Fiber brake upgrade? Maybe that would be good.

I'm willing to consider any opinions

 

Would go for a bronze color, I think.

"Lime Yellow" or "Royal Blue" will be nice..

yes! Those are the two colors I am considering Copper and Blue- great choices I believe.

I have a black c43 and went with red. It goes with all the red details on the interior and the AMG center caps. Why would it look like a faux c63s? Now they own the rights to red calipers too? IMO my car looks like a c43 with red calipers.

Yes Red has always been my first choice but I don't want to take any crap from people saying it is poser C63s, but then again I really don't care what they think.

It will either be red or Blue I am thinking, I want to keep it in the supercar realm, nothing too off the wall.

My speed shop up her in Mass does it for $500 for 4 wheels. At the same time I am going to have him put on Porterfield R4S Carbon Ceramic brake pads, for less dust, I only have 5500mi on the car so far and the rotors are mint.

 

Some c63s owners act like they’re driving AMG Project Ones. Like you said who cares what they think. No matter what you do some folks will like it and others won’t. Get what YOU like..

The brake pads should help. These brakes get dusty pretty quickly.

 

I have a love affair with gold calipers.
On a related note, I also have a thing for gold wheels.

I'd go with red.. looks correct on a black car, as long as you don't do other cheesy tuner crap to the car.

No, I agree that is why I am choosing a dark Cobalt Blue with black AMG I think it will look good. I will post the completed job. My rims are 19" AMG, 5 spoke black with aluminum trim, so that blue should contrast well.

In reality though I do believe the Russo Corso red color is the AMG Gold standard color and would look awesome, that is the obvious choice. Lime green though out there would also look cool.

 

Did you ever get this done? How did it come out. If you do not mind, what shop in Mass did you use?

 

I did not get this done yet but am still planning on it, when Porterfield puts out the RS4 brake pads, for the C43 in January, I am going to a place called Speed Life Motorsports in Haverhill, MA- I have seen some of their work on Audi's and they look great!- They charge $500 for the 4 calipers. They installed my AWE exhaust and did a great job.

I purchased my C43 at Mercedes Benz of Burlington and they told me that The Body shop they use- Auto Body It Is, in Woburn, MA- paints calipers for $100 each

I still like the Candy Cobalt Blue color with my Obsidian black car.

Yes this statement is dead on... Lime green calipers probably wouldn't look good on a metallic Blue car, lol

Had mine done in a shop in Toronto, lots of debate but ended up with "burnt copper" tone. No doubts looks absolutely sexy

I went with the burnt copper as well. Love it!

Burnt copper with ebay caliper decals. AU$800 it cost, here in Brisbane.

 

Plan on doing my wife's car burnt copper also

 

On my long list. Maybe next winter. Likely red or gold.
