Top speed?

For what its worth, I have driven by several of those speed limit check signs on the side of the road where they blink out on a screen how fast your going tracking it by radar and my C43 speed was dead on with that on everyone I have ever gone by, I say this because I am impressed with the accuracy of the Mercedes speedo.

That's good to know. Although I think at higher speeds there is a bit more deviation. I'm guessing you aren't flying by those speed limit check signs at the 120 mph speed you previously mentioned. Anyway, I noticed you are in a neighboring state (actually I work in MA). Not sure what part of MA you are in but we have some cars and coffee meets in southern MA and RI if you are interested. We are winding down, for the season and tomorrow we are going to the Newport Car Museum in Portsmouth, RI for German Car day. Hopefully, you can join us in the future. Cheers!

we might be a bit of a trek for you guys but you are welcomed to join us. We have had very little Mercedes participation, but we do have some loyal regulars with some cool cars. If you guys PM an email address I will be happy to add you to our event reminder list.
I did start a thread on the forum but since the New England Section gets very little traffic and there was no response I stopped posting there (we get more participation on some other car forums). Anyway, if you check out this link you will see photos from a few previous meets. https://mbworld.org/forums/new-engla...rs-coffee.html
To everyone else, sorry guys I didn't mean to hijack this thread. Now back to our regular programming.
Best regards,
Dino

Nice. Mine is at just a hair under 2100rpms. So it looks like gearing isn't any sort of issue in finding these cars top speed. I still speculate that with a tune, these cars could do 180. Too bad we don't have an Autobahn to try it out.

22 C43 cab here. I bought mine specd with 19's and my top speed is 155. I take it there everyday on the 101 in the evening and police cant see me fly by 👮♀️👮👮♂️ only have JB4. Before the piggy I would reach 130+ but never over 135, or if I did it was on a majorly long stretch of road. Acceleration is much slower past 120 without the JB4. With JB4 i'm there in less than 10 seconds and 130-150 is just a couple more seconds away. I consistently hit these speeds. Can post video for proof just lmk

there is an option to change the top speed. I think with out this option it's 135. I paid for the option I haven't got to top speed yet but I did hit 152 and have been 145 many times. This is all in a bone stock car with a few thousand miles on it
145 in 6th. I was in 7th at 152. Still two more gears left Barely broken In 1400 miles

just hit 160+ the other night. Ima check to see if my draggy was rn. Map 5 w Racing Fuel. No other mods! Just solid 101 open road, Pilot 4S on 19's, and ***** of steel. When I get Map 6 settings going it can be amazing 0-120 (hit 10.9 that way with proper boost watching, but need to get a new fuel pump (recall). Overdue for my 20k service. Also need new oil, brake fluid, and the rest lolll.

this summer i was speeding with Ferrari Roma on the motorway and i was hit 279 and the car stops (i have remap so limiter removed) but the car can do more for sure because i feel have the capacity of power but i guess is additional limiter for that
