Shifting at 6K rpm
My C43 shifts at 6000 under full throttle no matter what setting it is in; Comfort, Sport, Sport +, wondering if they all do this even if the red line is 6500. I feel like I am being cheated out of HP.
If this is the case does a tune raise the rpm shift points?
Thanks

I think the idea is by using the 9 speed it keeps the car in the sweet spot for faster acceleration.

Also, especially in 1 & 2, transmission will shift before the tach even has time to catch up. Example - try and get a clean run from a dig in manual mode (assuming you've never done it before).
In manual mode the rev limitir is at about 6.200 rpm. So I’m affraid the redline isn’t mounted correct. Realy anoying when you’re driving in manual on a track and don’t realy have the time to watch the rev counter all the time

What munis said. You'll be losing horsepower and speed by shifting higher than 6,000RPM. This is also the case for the tuned vehicles - should arguably shift even sooner with a full tune.

Having just driven the C43 on Laguna Seca at nearly 9/10ths, I never once thought the car was under-performing by not being in manual mode. When braking was applied appropriately based on the turn, gear selection was next to telepathic. I didn't have a single instance of feeling like I was in the wrong gear.

This is the first car that I have owned that falls far short of redline under full acceleration, every other automatic vehicle I've had shifts at the redline.
Then why the hell is the Redline at 6500 Rpm? and I disagree with shifting sooner, you will still be very near peak HP at 6500 rpm it doesn't fall off that quickly. So what your saying is every car should shift right at peak HP? Then why do manufacturers push the redline shift points just past peak HP rpm?

I'm not quite sure what you're arguing here - it can be seen in the dyno graphs. HP starts to slope down after 5750RPM. You can take it to redline all you want but your car will not run the best times like this. I'm not saying this is for all cars, but this is the truth for the C43.
If it were standard we would all be shifting at 6500rpm, I feel like I'm leaving something on the table, but the numbers show that is not true.
I was just curious if other C43's did this also

Well I took the car out last night and Mashed the pedal into the floorboards and it did in fact shift at 6250 rpm, so thanks for the info
Only problem was I was doing 105mph after the gear change, lol
