Hey guys,
I have been contemplating upgrading my car since I picked it up and after all my research, I decided to go with an AMR Performance tune. I love the power, the customer service and my overall experience with them so far has been great.

Right now, they happen to be offering 15% off, which takes off quite a bit! Who would be willing to upgrade as well to get an even deeper discount? Matt told me if I got a group of at least 5, he could play with numbers for me.

I noticed that the only real complaint with AMR is the price of the tune as there are literally zero negatives about any other aspect of their company/products. With that being said, I feel this is a good way for people to get an great tune for closer to the price that they feel comfortable paying.

I am most likely going to do it regardless as 15% is pretty deep, but I am curious to see who would be willing to get an even bigger group discount

Just bought the car but what the hell I will kick the tires.

When will this be done?

Getting a price will make it easier for people to decide.

I live close I would like to do dyno also

I’d consider something steeper as I’m dying to try the Dinan Elite.

The sale goes until the 31st, so if we get a decent sized group before then, I feel we can get a nice deal. I pitched 20% off to Matt because I feel that would be very reasonable for what their tune is providing.

It all depends on how many people are interested. If it is only a couple people, I doubt they will want to go beyond their current 15%.off.

you should push for more than 20%. if you look at all the tuning companies forum posts you can see the past deals they offer. 20% comes around once a year usually Christmas time/end of year/black friday. then throughout the year for different holidays they generally do 10-15%. if it was >25% i would be interested. but getting me to buy out of the time-frame i wanted it in is going to take more than an extra 5%.

Thanks for pointing that out! I notice the trend lol and they would be willing to give that discount, but like I said, it depends how many people are on board. I can't ask big numbers like that if I am only bringing 2 or 3 people to the table, you know?

I know there are a bunch of people that want the tune, but are being suckered into cheaper products. If we get a nice sized group, we can all get their upgrade for a steal of a price!

the eurocharged tune at $999 is pretty competitive. especially since memebers have proven the tunes are essentially equal. Some people may like the push back at gear shifts that eurocharged gives over constant delivery feeling. idk. but thats only based on one guys review who has amr. i applaud his opinoin and open mind. but even at $1699 can 700 be justified for the amr tune over euro? **** even 25% puts it at $1499 which is eurocharged normal price. 30-40% off may get some sales thier way. just saying.

Yes, they dropped their price conveniently as AMR is offering a sale lol that just shows me that they are just trying to undercut because they are less superior with the car. Not knocking Eurocharged's capabilities with tuning, but I personally rather choose a company that bought the car themselves when it came out and has been doing consistent R + D since it was released. AMR has always been on top with this car and now over a year into it Eurocharged starts doing tests on a customer car that they left sitting on the dyno? I find that unprofessional and a tad bit strange. I am sure Eurocharged offers a decent product, but from the reviews, EC has faced more issues/CELs and the only reason it hasn't been a huge deal is because they make up for it with their constant sales and low pricing. They pretty much ***** their tunes out to compete lol, so I rather go with AMR.

Furthermore, looking at AMR's instagram, they literally do handfuls of C43s a week lol Eurocharged may flash their company with the exotics they do, but I do not drive a twin turbo gallardo, so I want the C43 specialists to tune my car. Regardless, both companies are reputable, but speaking to AMR client's and even AMR themselves, you are clearly paying for their knowledge and customer service. They make you feel like they have known you for years just by speaking to you one time on the phone. Customer service is a big thing with me and I would like to choose a company to stand behind.

Like I said initially, it is not the end of the world to me if I only get the 15%, but I figured getting a group could help out other members that wanted a little extra off.

This is exactly what my thinking was as well and the reason behind me going for AMR. They specialize in the C43. Eurocharged might be a really good tuner but they don't have a vested interest in C43 as much as AMR has. Eurocharged does a bit of everything and they do tons of exotic platforms, which kind of means that they also never kind of perfect the tune for anything either. They just deal with each problem as they come instead of perfecting the tune for a single model. At the same time don't think AMR never had any problems, just saying, because it gets worked on, and no one ever mentions it. Having driven both of them, I can tell you that AMR has a significantly more refined tune for our car.

This car is not even a year old yet. So you have to wait and see what problems can develop. But let me tell you, a raw and more powerful tune will have way more problems down the line.

And like I mentioned before, customer service was single handedly the most important factor that made me chose the tune I have. 2k is a lot of money, and you need to calmly think about who you are giving it to.

Well the sale ends tomorrow, so I am probably going to just take the 15% while it is being offered. I really don't have the patience to try and build up a group to save an extra 5-10% lol the price is not a big deal to me. If you and star4life are a guarantee to purchase today, I could ask Matt if he can do something for us, but like I said I don't want to ask for favors if I do not have anything to bring to the table, you know?

If it was in the 25% range I'd probably be interested, anything less than that and I'll pass for now.

Personally I wouldn't pay more than $1,000 for a canned tune...and $1,500 to me is in the realm of a custom tune.

I probability won't have my C450 anymore by the time the price drops to a grand.
