Congrats on the order. That saddle interior is really sharp, especially with the linden wood, good call. You may want to reconsider that AMG steering wheel though. The dinamica is only going to get funky from your hands, and the paddles on the stock wheel are easy for me to pull with my girly little hands. I much prefer a nice set of driving gloves. May I suggest these from Autodromo, they would compliment that interior very nicely.
I have them in black on red.
Oh and btw. DIAMOND SILVER FOREVER!
It's funny, when I ordered my car brilliant blue was a EU color only. I liked diamond silver the best and ordered it. 3 months later, brilliant blue came out and was all over. I still love it, but I wouldn't trade out of mine for it. I personally think every AMG body car with black accents looks great in diamond silver. Great contrast.
how do you like the rims? ive read that with those rims, the max speed is capped at 130 (obviously itll take me a whole lot of guts and a lot of road to reach that so im not missing out)
do you have any "distaste" for the nonblackedout rear valance?
Honestly I purchased the car off the lot and the wheels where not an important factor in the purchase.
But I don't mind the wheels they are easy to clean plus I like the design much better than the 19s. Only thing I don't like about them is that they are the same wheels u can get on a 300 with spirt package. If you get 19s those are exclusive to the c43 which if it matters to you differentiates your car to a 300

i got word that it got a spot in feb but was informed that the black ash wood was not available. this changed my entire approach to the car and i've rearranged many things

very excited about this order. saw a youtube of the contrast of linden wood with the designo saddle brown and it complements very well, especially when viewed with the brilliant blue shell. To me, it's entirely different from the virtual showroom.
all in all, i had my reservations about the brilliant blue clashing with the night package. With the stock 18in rims, it was much better. i thought i would like the diamond silver after seeing it initially but then the taste grew sour really quickly
i figured the HUD would be pretty pointless because i dont have the multimedia package and the info that i would be seeing is limited. i also tried the amg steering wheel and the bigger paddle shifters make it a lot easier to go up and down. the girth also makes handling a lot more controlled versus the stock steering wheel.
what do you guys think?
I have an order pending with the Black Ash on a C43 Coupe. Am I gonna be told that it is unavailable too? Is yours a coupe?
