where do you put your phone?
had my coupe for about six months and love it more every day except one thing. where in the f do you put your cell phone? Keep in mind that I did spec my car purposely without Nav, so I do keep my phone out for maps & music.
Seems like the only choice is to keep the cupholder tray open, which is OK but not great.
I'm definitely not sticking a mount to my dash. Are there any slick mounts that attach to the center ac vent?
I guess I could find a cupholder insert mount, but that seems goofy also. Does MB sell a mount?
My last BMW had NAV and full tech pkg, but I found myself using my phone 99% of the time. Now in the benz, there isn't an ideal spot for the phone.
where do you guys keep your phone other than your pocket?
I'm also a little bitter because BlendMount doesn't sell radar mounts for the MB rearview mirror. salty!

I think ideally they don’t want you to have your phone out (I thought there was a grippy area inside the center console). Otherwise, cup holder it or lap. You could also extend the leg support and drop it in that crack.

I have the Nav package and synch my phone so I usually just put in the center console to ensure it does not become a distraction. I then use my nav for directions and voice control for placing calls, so ideally do not need access to it as I drive.

hahaha you guys are gonna get a good chuckle outta this, I put my phone between my thighs in the seat extension when it opens up, as all my memos(1,2,3) have it opened. Multi-use for the comfort/support/and phone holder, I just like to keep my cup holder lid closed, it just looks aesthetically pleasing

ok, i picked this up at Best Buy this morning and so far I'm liking it. it holds tight on the center vent which is also perfect for phone reach / visibility. the magnet is strong as hell and just twist the phone easily for horizontal or vertical orientation. as far as vent mounts go, this is as good as we're going to get. it's very small and oddly the trim of the unit matches the MB vent style perfectly.
I'll take a few pics later,... we shall see.

iOttie - iTap Magnetic Car Vent Mount Holder for Select Cell Phones - Black
it allows me to keep the cupholder lid closed, which improves the aesthetics of the cabin. The mount can be removed in two seconds with a pinch of the thumb.

I have a pop-socket on my phone and use the clip for the car. It’s the most efficient phone mount I’ve ever had and the pop-socket on a large phone like my iPhone Plus is very useful.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I ordered an iOttie CD mount on Amazon and installed last night. Fits great, can still use cup holders, but it blocks the analog clock which I don't care much about. It's in the perfect position to still keep your elbow on the armrest when tapping.

I found this to be the best.
To the left of the nav screen.
Get the CD phone holder, and it wedges right into the interior
