We raced when I was stock and we were door to door...
Then raced again after a DME Tune.

Hey Joey, what numbers did you put down? I was thinking of going with DME as well but went Eurocharge.

Im curious as well, the website says theres a +33hp gain from their tune, which is really low for a remap. But the graph shoulds closer to +50hp?
Maybe the 400hp rating is at the wheels? Did you do any other tests? 0-60, 0-100, Dyno baseline vs tuned?

Yes once the weather gets better here in NJ I will race the C63, then plan on tuning the C63 with DME also!Originally Posted by 18bora

I have their C43 Canned Tune, not a custom dyno tune. I will consider to get the custom tune next year. Originally Posted by ShazV6

Shoot me a DM if you need a contact from DME located in North NJ.

No I believe it is 400hp at the crank. This flash from DME is claimed to produce 400 hp and 430ish tq. It probably only equates to a 20 whp gain from stock which would explain the slight win by the tune Mercedes. I believe OP mentioned he ran the car stock and was neck and neck. A proper flash and it would be bus lengths from the Audi, based on what OP claimed was stock, and now that we see a bench flash.

Wow...how much was this tune then? Those numbers are number you'd expect to see from like an conservative entry level piggyback or something, not a full remap.Originally Posted by sliqdaddy91

This is what I was wondering. I thought that both races were going to be on the video and at first, I was thinking I was watching the stock 43 against the S4 lol. Suffice to say, I was a bit confused when the vid ended until I realized that was a "tuned" 43. I'm not familiar with this DME company but I hope that this tune wasn't more than the ~$300 piggy-backs. I would feel OK with spending $300 for 30-40whp but anything higher and I would feel robbed!Originally Posted by waisoserious

That makes pretty good sense to me, IMO.
That's a B8 s4, last generation, and they ran low 12's with mods of that nature. Most tuned C43's are running low 12's...

That's not what we're pointing out. It's the fact that he stated they were "neck and neck" when the 43 was stock, and now that it's been tuned, he's only pulling 3-4 car lengths on him. That's a pretty weak power increase for a tune. Like I said earlier, it would be fine if it was a $200-300 piggy-back, but I'm guessing that is not the case...? IDK Originally Posted by alexasa
