Just installed the JB1 with JB4 Bluetooth module
so I just installed the JB1 and the JB4 Bluetooth module and it was really easy to install. Took me about 15 minutes and I think the next time around it would take less than 8 minutes. I was a little nervous about the installation but it was super easy. The hardest part was wiring the Bluetooth module to the JB1.
once installed it sync to my phone app easily.
I set it to map 1 because of the crap fuel in Cali.
First impressions. Very cool I love being able to adjust the maps on the fly. And performance increase was very noticeable. The increased power feels smooth and the car seems to love it. I don’t have a data behind it but I just know that I hit 80mph much faster than before.
on my Bluetooth logger it only logs rpms, boost and iat.
I love love love this setup and wish BMS would continue developing a JB4 upgrade to log all the other inputs.

Yes, i will remove it before bringing it in for service. Its really easy so it doesn't bother me at all. I really wish they can develop this JB kit to the extent they did the N54 cars. Its pretty insane that those cars are throwing down 700hp on stock internals with single turbos.

You have to pop open the housing and attach directly to the board.

So am I understanding correctly when people say that all the JB1 does is increase boost? It does nothing to timing or transmission shift or anything that a full tune does? Just curious because it kicks a full tunes *** Price/performance wise- with that being said there is no advantage to a full tune except that it voids your warranty
By the way full tunes do not do anything to transmission shift patterns either. You need to tune the TCU for that.

That is great news, so the JB1 can improve the overall driving characteristics of the car. The more I hear the better the JB piggy gets
