Anyone Move to C43 from BMW M4?

Maybe I misunderstood your first post. Can you explain why drift mode turns off 70mph? Your first post read as if you were rhetorically asking why drift mode turns off at 70mph, so I assumed you knew why.

2021 Mercedes C63s AMG Coupe
Because at that kind of speed, the power and torque generated by the engine would probably wear down the rear differential at an alarming rate. I actually did not know this, but makes sense now.

..... You're joking right... ...? That must be why all Dodge Demons incinerate their differentials every 10k miles......

C43 is not = or > M4
You have a modded c43 that performs as well as stock M4/C63s.
Modded M4/c63s traps 130-135mph. Bus lengths compared to yours.
Buying a Mercedes for drag? Nothing nice could be said.
The dude that pulled the remark from his *** about why limiting 70mph on drift mode was a nice touch.

You mentioned something about nothing beats AWD, why have a drift mode....

You want to trap your claim of 130-135 you need something like this.
Stock M4's Ive seen haven't broke 11's (low 12's some). Tuned M4 11.7-8's maybe. BTW all I did was mention the E63 switches back to AWD if the car goes above 70 MPH. Go to a track, see for yourself the load of crap your spewing on this thread. Have a good day/night. And no one mentioned they bought the C43 just for the drag, it just so happens to be pretty good at it with just a tune.

Not a MB engineer so you are right I can’t answer why that is, I can only speculate. Either MB thought the car was unsafe as a rear wheal drive car only at speeds above 70MPh. Or the diff that goes between front and rear is susceptible to damage if the car is not in AWD at speeds above 70 MPH. I believe saying AWD is inferior to RWD is a bunch is bs. Both systems have their purpose. Try racing your C63 against a C43 in the rain light to light and see how well you do. Good luck to you and have a nice day.

Have a look at this vid, I found it a bit entertaining. Don’t get me wrong C63 is a hella car. But you can say it’s better than the 43 in all occasions. Both cars have their place

No you didn't upset me. But it's clear you have no idea what you're talking about and I think everyone can see that. 😂 everyone's go-to for c43 vs any rwd car is always the same damp weather from a standstill for only 1/8 mile because that's the only time c43 stands a chance. Again not mad ,just stating facts. And that's what I said from the very beginning, 4wd is only useful in some conditions so it depends on what you want from a car. And the entire reason for my saying that is because you can't compare a c43 to an M4... I'd take m4 hands down anyday, same for c63. Anyone who tells you otherwise either lives in the snow or really doesn't know what they're talking about. As a matter of fact ,personally I prefer M4 or c63 in the damp, too, much more fun to swing the tail out, but that's just personal preference ,not everyone likes that.
And you still haven't answered the question so I'll stop asking because it's clear you just don't know LOL. It's ok.

Lol at no idea what I'm talking about. I never said one is better than the other. Nor did I say the C43 is better than either of the 2 cars you mentioned. Some one that threw out there they wonder why the E63 has a drift mode, and I kindly wondered why only to 70MPH. Why you took offense or decided to say I didn't know what I was talking about I have no clue. I never said I knew why MB did that to the E63. Munis was the one that assumed why MB did that to the E63. But you can't deny that with a $379(now $479) piggy back C43 will be faster than stock C63 0-60 in any weather. Maybe that's why you are saying I have no idea what I'm saying??

He never said the C43 is better. But it is right up there. This is coming from a guy who is getting a 63s soon, but do not underestimate the 43. It doesn't end well for your ego when you come across one.
Also, what I said, was just an assumption, I am not an AMG engineer, so I do not know. But why else would they turn it back to 4wheel drive, when you go above 70mph? I am just guessing, but sounds like a safety feature to me. May they did not make the rear diff sturdy enough to handle that torque all day long. So they just dial it back once you go to that kind of speed. If you have a better explanation, I would love to hear it.
