My dealer told me back on December 13th that the software update had been completed and my car was ready at the VPC. He said it was being transported via railway and would arrive in Denver on 12/28 but today I get the news that it won't arrive until January 11th.
I'm guessing that maybe my car is still being held at the VPC afterall and hasn't actually been loaded onto a rail car. My dealer has been great at handling the situation as best they can but I'm starting to lose interest in this car, I sure hope it's worth the wait!

Looks great, especially with the night package. Is that privacy glass or tinting? Some countries have optional privacy glass- I don't think this is an option on any sedan in the US. Also, with the massaging seats, a little overkill for short trips, but I bet when you are sitting in traffic or taking a road trip, the massaging really helps.
Crazy what options are available or not available elsewhere. I was watching a video on the E53 Hyrbid and they have cabin moods. This thing releases different scents, changes the temperature of the cabin lighting and even the music depending on the setting. Remove Before Race did say the C43 has better programming in the digital instrument cluster though. Plus it is unavailable with the performance exhaust. Heres the E53 Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9TiUkc636A&t=1105s

The car came with rear privacy glass and I had the front windows tinted.
Where I live in Brisbane Australia it’s sub tropical. I’d say with a climate like Miami.
So cooling seats & tint are good options.
ps. I got the Performance Exhaust
Thanks

I picked mine up today. It was worth the wait. It was worth the aggravation.

Pretty sure the dealership has to setup the account with an email address and password when you take delivery. Make sure you download the newer Mercedes Me Connect app and not Mercedes Me. Since I have a 2018 and 2019, I use both and find the newer version to be far superior. The connection is much more reliable and level of information you get access remotely is vastly upgraded. You can read things like tire pressure, window status, brake pad life, etc. It's definitely more fun to play with.

I picked mine up on the 18th so I would think the dealership would have forwarded the info to Mercedes by now. I called the 800 number and after 20 minutes of "your call is important to us. Please hold for our next available representative", I was told to contact the dealership. I am still waiting to hear from them.

There was someone on this forum that hadn't even picked up his car yet and was able to track it and lock and unlock the doors. So they apparently can activate it before you even pick it up, which they apparently didn't do to mine.

Yah I thought that was odd, but my guess would be that they either did the paperwork in advance to make sure that they got the December rates or the dealer did it when the car arrived to make the delivery process go faster. Pure conjecture.

I have not taken delivery but I was able to add my VIN to the Mercedes Me and Connect apps. It shows my car but says “awaiting verification” which needs to be activated by the dealer. Your VIN should at least match even if it’s not active.

2019 C43s are finally starting to arrive at my area dealerships.
I'm only halfway through a 3 year lease on my coupe, but I gotta go check these out and start a conversation.
I love the tweaks they've made on the '19 refresh. Just so happens the two coupes in my area are my desired colors (lunar blue & black).

The vehicle was delivered at the dealer and the person was picking it up that day (yesterday). Average consumers likely don’t try the mercedes me app prior to delivery. If they activate it as a part of PDI, then the timing was why it worked. I have my Me and Connect app activated with my VIN but it is awaiting verification since the last name must match the record. Since I haven’t received the car, they haven’t submitted my name as the owner on record connected to the VIN.

First impressions are everything so here are mine...
TL, DR; I love the car.
I picked it up yesterday. I had a tough day at work so I blew off my evening plans and drove for a couple hours.
I did not get the car above the recommended speed or rev limit so I know there is more goodness to come.
I chose a route I know well with surface streets, highway (where people generally drive 80), some twisty narrow roads with a 30-35 MPH speed limit and a wonderful curvy winding road with a 55 MPH speed limit. My frame of reference is my old 2013 C350 Sport
First the C43 is orders of magnitude quieter inside than the 350. I can easily hear a phone conversation. I know some models of the 350s had door seal issues but I didn't realize how quiet the car could be.
Second, the packages:
I am glad got the sport exhaust. I briefly put it in Sport+ mode when I was getting on the highway on the return leg. It sounded wonderful, I love the burble when you let off.
The Advanced Lighting Package was worth the money for me. I did this drive after dark. I don't have great night vision when driving. The new lighting package is miles beyond what I had in the 350. The high-beams adjust down immediately when there is an oncoming car. More importantly they adjust back up very quickly when the car has past. This really helps me regain my vision and sense of the road. I had an easy time driving on unlit twisty winding back roads. I always knew where I was and wanted to go. Again, glad I paid the money.
The biggest surprise was the Burmeister system. I am something of an audiophile. My goal was to use my iPhone, (I have my entire music collection, except vinyl, stored on my iPhone in full resolution, Apple Lossless format or AIFF.) controlled via CarPlay with a fantastic sound. I was expecting to have to go have a DAC and possibly an amp put in the C43 to get the sound I want.
My 350 had the Harmon Kardon. The CD was just OK. Playing USB MP3 at 320 BPS sounded crappy as did the iPhone through USB. I have no expectation of decent sound through Bluetooth.
On the way back from the dealer I listened to MP3s at 320BPS via USB. I was not very impressed. It was missing a lot of dynamic range. I was freaking out because the Burmeister doesn't have a CD player.
When I plugged the iPhone in however the magic happened. I listened to rock, classical, jazz and blues. All sounded fantastic. Great dynamic range, rich sound and a joy to listen to. I am really pleased, I got EXACTLY what I wanted. No modification necessary.
IF you have high resolution files on your smartphone AND you want great sound THEN the Burmeister is worth every penny. If you are just using MP3s I am not sure it is.
The only disappointment for me is the interior. I wanted carbon fiber. I also wanted NFC. You cant get both I switched to walnut and kept NFC. The walnut doesn't cut it. It looks like a cheap plastic veneer. I really wish I had dumped the NFC and chosen another interior.
The handling of the '43 is great. I had some reservations about 4Matic. The car sticks to the road like glue. There are some curves on my route where the old 350 would start to drift. I could really feel the weight of the car. I would have to fight to get it through the S curves. The '43 stuck like glue. The car felt lighter and was much easier to handle. I tried this in both comfort and sport.
I am not going to bother to post any pics. As @ACSchnitzersprt said AH! Finally, someone with the selenite gray, night package, and the updated headlights. ;-)
For everyone who is peeved about the missed delivery dates, it was worth the wait.

You can ask your SA to try that for you.
