That’s unfortunate. My custom ordered ‘19 also started production around 6/10, but I took delivery on 6/26 (MA).
Can you list all options you got? Can compare with mine and maybe we can zero in.

I'm in Jersey and my car was built on June 6th (ordered it on 3/20/19). Was delivered on 6/26.
The only back order item I'm aware of is the HUD, but obviously there must be something else. What was your spec if you don't mind me asking? Maybe other's on here can tell what was back ordered.

I think I am having a really bad luck with this order.... as commented ordered in november last year. Strangely MB gave to the dealer final dates of production etc... in March/april updated that will be a MY2020 version and produced in September. and delivery end of october.
Yesterday I went to the dealer to check the status of the order and arrange the maintenance plan, check insurance offer etc.. as i agreed with them to do so. It was a huge surprise for the Salesman and me, when we look at the order and it's been done changes to it, after May when we did the last additions.
We added a couple of options in January and a couple more in May. In May the new ones available for MY2020. But it's seems the administrative staff didn't notice that doing the updates the system unselected some options, as for 2020 version the "Premium Package" has changes and do not selected them again. Also the salesman recognised it's error of not tracking the order, and do not receive and double check what the admin staff did it as it's usually done.
Now, I have an issue, no digital cluster, no Comand, no Midline Audio (just the Audio20), no wireless charging, no 64 ambient lighting and it seems also no 360 camera. Strangely the multibeam still selected, when it's part of the package. At least all the rest of equipment still intact, it's quite a volume.
I suppose it's difficult to know if all of this can be fitted afterwards.... any experience?
The dealer already informed that I have the right to cancel it, take back the money or order a new one. (the worst case, 5 months of more wait...).
Reorder the car. Absolutely and unfortunately impossible to retrofit. The dashboard is a must as well as the performance exhaust. Reorder maybe they give you a better deal. It’ should not be 5 months. Usually around 3 months. Good luck.

thanks, the performance exhaust it's ordered, that's no issue, to me looking at the functionalities etc... main upset it's for the digital dashboard and comand and all the integration allowed.
just for transport from East london to EU - Spain it's about 2 months.
No way I'd go without the digital dash, the ambient lighting and the 360 camera. You can get the Burmiester audio without the Command. As for Command you can do without it and if you want Nav you order the MB SD card nav option. You need to start over. I guess the dealer has admitted it but he totally screwed up. Personally I went for the Sedan, easier to get into the back seat and more practical for me. I think with the Cardinal Red and the Blackout trim and wheels it's still aggressive enough for me, especially with the AMG exhaust. It's built in the US so delivery is quicker and more controllable.

It's been checked with the dealer, what can be retrofitted. They asked MB, and only the Command, 360 camera can be retrofitted. But the digital dashboard, ambient light can't. I was not really worried with the ambient light, but not having the digital dash and midline (at least this one and avoid the Audio20), was a problem. At the end no problem, new order and solved. Now another wait of 5 months.
they will check what happened with the factory, but it seems MB themselves, when looking at the order history was doing changes themselves.

I finally agreed with the dealer to take the car. I received a big discount, and also some discount to install the comand online, I will check with their partner to improve the audio as now it has the Audio20 and not midline, Only thing I loose it's the ambient lighting and 360 camera. The digital cluster I am looking at options to install it or wait as MB decides for the OEM installation as it seems to happen sooner or later.
