C43 AMG exhaust and hidden feature video

Hi guys,

have uploaded an interior AMG facelift short video but also included the setup you need in individual mode for an ‘efficiency mode’ which was removed...

TLDR: "efficiency mode" is when you set the engine power on low. OMGZZZ!

It is what the efficiency setting does on other models but never an option on the standard settings for the C43 unless in slippery mode...

thanks for your helpful input...

What a useless video. Why even post this ? People don’t know how to press a button to turn it on and off. Really sad.

maybe its because the same people who buy performance cars are not simultaneously trying to be fuel efficient. Especially ironic when the setting you recommend is with the PE on so you can maximally make as much annoying noise with the least engine power as possible

2019 AMG E53 Cabriolet
Dang, you guys are brutal. I found it interesting, if only because my E53 cab does not have a slippery mode or the performance exhaust. The E53 has eco, individual, comfort, sport and sport+.

Unlike my prior vehicle (a Jeep Grand Cherokee) where I instinctively turned OFF the power limiting Eco feature whenever I used the vehicle, I now find that I don't mind Comfort or Eco, and never turn off the auto stop feature because (with the exception of seeing the tachometer registering 0 RPM) the shut off is absolutely 100% unnoticable. Plus, even in Eco or Comfort, if I press the gas pedal hard enough, I can still access the full 429hp whenever I want it, and that puts me near the top of what I could face locally. Sport or Sport+ modes are for when I want the car to be noisy, like when I experience an obnoxiously slow and inconsiderate driver who has been holding up a line of traffic and deserves to be shaken up a little by the crackles and pops as I race past.

So what does slippery mode do?

It basically turns down the HP based on the dynamic config. However, I personally notice that the gear changes are also a lot smoother
