OMFG normally my car would left the production building on 18th of september but the car is blocked for another 3 weeks.. I asked for the reason and they say there waiting for a new delivery of "car covers" to transport the car to dealership !!! (the extern company that delivers car covers is out of stock) WTF
Ordered a 2019 sedan in April this year. Had a 1D September built date. That obviously came and passed and was updated to 10-8-18 build date. Low and behold my salesman called and said its been updated, car now has a VIN, and is at the VPC process plant awaiting release so that it can be shipped to the dealer in FL.
Sedan people we have hope!
Hopefully they are released sooner than later to us!
Congrats! Thats awesome to hear. I actually JUST saw a C43 sedan picture being posted on IG and Twitter by a media individual working for Car and Driver yday.
That was the first media sighting Ive seen in North America of the C43s. So Def is promising.

Received word today that my late August order should see production start in January. Fine with me, just gives me a post-Xmas gift for myself to look forward too.

Hello. I have my c43 coupe arriving in 2 weeks . Question on the trim analog clock. I ordered blind like everyone else and went with the Anthracite wood trim cause I was told it comes with the analog clock. When I build it on the German site it doesn’t show a clock. Dealer said he’s almost positive it does. Any idea if that trim comes with it? Last years model all wood came with the clock. Thanks in advance.
Pretty sure it’s a standard option for us in Canada. Will let you know though as I ordered the same interior anthracite trim as you. Dealer told me on Monday that car is expected to be delivered to dealer on Oct 6 which would be this Sat. So, hopefully he will send me some pics.
That being said, I have heard rumblings today that the cars are not certified yet and that they will only be released in late Oct now.

Yes Anthracite Oak Wood Open Pore Trim includes the analog clock (Code 246)
The only trim that doesn't get the analog clock is the Piano Black / Aluminum or Fineline Dark Brown Wood Trim which are the standard options if you choose to not upgrade the trim.
Hey guys, I finally got confirmation from my SA that my car is built and been assigned a VIN. The US is still awaiting EPA approval though, so no cars can be released. We are getting closer!
Update: Just got confirmation from my SA in Burlington that my car has been released from Halifax and in transit to Toronto. Expecting to get the car Friday.
Any one else in the US/CA get any updated or new information lately on their orders? Just curious.
Hey, from my side was told car was released from VPC and being sent to dealer last week. Was supposed to arrive there on Oct 6th. System now shows it’s at a storage facility close to the dealer where many others have their cars also.
Apparently, MB Canada has sent over the cars out of VPC to create more room. A SA called head office this week to find out for me what was going on and he was told that though cars are certified and ready, they will only be released for sale in November. He said that I should expect to have my car my mid Nov...... :/

No I received an e-mail saying the car has been delayed and still at te factory because they still don't have car covers for transportation.. BS.
