I thought the sedans were built in Alabama so what is the "port of entry"?
That part confused me too but I'm guessing they shipped from the factory on a boat. Unless they totally balled up my order and I've now got a coupe haha.
Placed my first Mercedes Benz purchase from Ottawa, ON, Canada. The coldest capital city in the world, where 4MATIC AWD and winter tires are mandatory.
Ordered the 2019 C43 AMG Coupe, with a winter rims and tires package (MB 18" 5-Spoke Forged).
On the waitlist and haven't received an ETA. I could only build my specs on the German site:

Hi Forest Jim. I’m from Australia too and ordered pretty much exactly the same spec as yours. However I’ve noticed that you can choose Saddle Brown with your luxury seat package. The dealer in Melbourne said I can only choose Black Leather with luxury seat package and they tried to put my order through with Saddle Brown and got rejected.
How you go with your order? Did your Saddle Brown Leather option go through?
Hey, from my side was told car was released from VPC and being sent to dealer last week. Was supposed to arrive there on Oct 6th. System now shows it’s at a storage facility close to the dealer where many others have their cars also.
Apparently, MB Canada has sent over the cars out of VPC to create more room. A SA called head office this week to find out for me what was going on and he was told that though cars are certified and ready, they will only be released for sale in November. He said that I should expect to have my car my mid Nov...... :/
Thats the update on this side of the border. Another delay, more waiting... less excitement... more frustration. Lol
I just confirmed with dealer all Ontario 2019 c43 will not be certified until November. Expect delivery for late nov early dec. this is bull ****. My build was expected for sept 20th.
wow. so my dealer pretty much lied to me. I am giving my current car back next week because he told me late october. Based off what your saying, I will be car-less for over a month if its a december delivery. Whats the deal? why so much bull****?

Im in the same position as you. My lease is up next week as well. I have demanded a Mercedes loaner from the dealership until my car arrives. I would do the same.

Lol tell me about it man. My car was ordered in March, built June 20 and was in Halifax on July 20th. Has been there ever since just waiting... and now in Concord, On since beginning of Oct.

LOL...... now its Mid November... Beginning of Oct, I was told it would be ready at the end of Oct and then it changed to beginning of November and now this is showing Mid November.
And based on that statement, it seems like it could be even later.
All posts on the forums and from what we've heard has said the cars will only be released in Nov. I was also told my dealer is getting my Car Oct 6th, then it changed to Oct 17th and still nothing.
Please do let us know if you in fact end up seeing or getting the car next week.

Dealer just called me saying that the car is still in Germany ...
I have no words. Don't think I will wait another month.. My Macan lease is going to expire November 10th.

SA Called Yesterday to Setup Delivery C43 Sedan
Long time watcher- first post and figured I'd add some hope to all those who wait.
My SA called me yesterday to email me financing and sales documents since the C43 AMG Sedan will be here before November 1st. It's built and in processing ready to be released by Merc USA.
Pretty excited too since the current Mercedes financing deal is 2.9 for 72 months- even my credit union couldn't match that... They could get 3.49 at 60 months. Ordered this back in May.
