C43 wheels stolen in encino California
#26
Apologies for the obvious as I dont know, but didnt this theft activate any of the car alarms?

My suggestion is two sets of Mcgard locks two on each wheel, or replace all five ! http://www.mcgard.com/automotive/wheel-locks/ I'd stay away from the MB OE locks since every dealer has the key..

Put a renta fence around the car and a couple of nasty pit bulls in with it. I would be so mad, so they likely goofed something on the underside sitting it on cement blocks. Its pretty bad when a person
almost needs to hire a 24 hour security guard to keep their car safe. Has any one else had problems there?

Dash cams is one solution to at least identifying the perpetrator.

I always park my car in a highly visible place if I can help it- sucks that this happened to you
An aftermarket alarm with a 130db siren, perimeter warning and tilt sensitivity is probable the best option to defeat this.

Yeah, 2 way alarms are probably best solution, a dash-cam for evidence and a good wheel lock will help slow them down while you go find a baseball bat to take care of the problem permanently!
Here's a good video that gives more info on wheel locks:
The gator grips are quite shallow and not big enough in some cases. And though they will work on some wheel locks it won't work on all.

Haha, Someone in the comments gave me a nice idea, what if you use different wheel locks on each rim? Gorilla brand seems good. Sucks to be down a couple grand from just a few minutes.
