Depends on how dirty your car gets and the weather where you live in. I decided not to go for rubber mats, I wanted the car to look as classy and as elegant as possible. Rubber mats imo detracts from that.

I miss a true dead pedal, but the AMG mats that came with the car have a strip that runs up that portion of the floor.
I don't like the idea of the adhesive right to the carpet, but if I didn't know any better, looks great!

Just wanted to add what i have done so far.
So I bought the dead pedal to rest my foot on. It came with a horrible stinking petroleum sticky substance to adhere to the carpet.
Anyways, I have removed that using a hairdryer and will be using velcro tape to stick it onto the carpet. Looks great.

I notice you are relatively new to this board and my advice to you would be, if you dont have a sense of humor then get the f**k off the board, you are the true dick.
