I have all kinds of attachments and suction cups, cd slot holders and I cannot find a logical place/apparatus to secure my phone that does not block functional buttons of my console.

what are y’all using?

me too until I need to change streaming music, or see where I’m going on google maps.

So uh, maybe I’ll rephrase - how do you secure your device for hands-free viewing?

ProClip is the settled answer as to what the best mount is for the C43.

Cupholder.
I ordered a wireless charge pad that I'm going to try to install in the spot where the ashtray lives now. If it works, I'll remove the ashtray and that will be the new phone cubby.

Now this I can live with. I wonder how well my DVD rewinder would fit on it.
It needs to really stable because I wouldn't want the DVDs flying off.

Thank you

Damn. That is good I need to give serious consideration to placing it here. I was going to place it in the middle of the windscreen. ie The area above the central tablet.

I have the same brand as he does and I am going to be hard-wiring it as well. So thats a double solution for me. ie Location and hard wiring.

Yeah, I just think the left side of the 43/63 (C or GLC), in the window, makes the most sense. I also thought of middle of dash or windscreen or even dash vents, but that's too visible for me or blocks air flow. Opinions vary...

In the middle of my windscreen on the left side at the top I have my dashcam (note Aussie driver on RIGHT side steering wheel) and on the left I was going to hook up my old S8 phone for dragy.
Underneath both of those I was going to place my Note 8 for reading out my OBD2, Waze etc etc thats going to be hooked up to the charger as I would use this the most. S8 is only for a short time use.

I probably need to take a photo and get others to give their thoughts.

LOL, I would have 4 gadgets in the middle of my car. My C43 screen, my dashcam, my S8 and my Note 8.

Where did you get the "doughnut" for the wire to prevent it from sinking into the aircon vent?
