Water puddles
For those of us that wash their own cars, have you noticed when you have finished washing/drying the car that there are two "puddles" of water (about 1/4 cup each side) on the top of each side of the trunk infrastructure....right around the hinge area. There is no drain hole and the water just runs down the back of the car at first take off. Has anyone found a way to get rid of the puddles other that to mop them up with a towel

Is yours sedan or coupe?
I havent ever noticed this?
Have you tried using a super absorbent sponge, dip it in a few times and rinse?
Have you chatted to the dealer and asked them their thoughts on it?

I just went to a laser wash on Sunday and noticed no water puddles like you have. All I can suggest is to chat to your dealer, it cannot be the FIRST time this happened, Im sure others out there have had this issue. Dealer may have some solutions for you. Its terrible that a car that is $100k+ that you have these issues.
I think posting the same question in the convertible section may be a better idea as very of us have C43 convertible.

Detail dryer
it might be an expensive attempt to fix, but I use a handheld detail blower designed for getting all the water out of the nooks and crannies. That might push most of the water out (when pressed to the crease of the deck lid). Think mine was $70 or $80. Wear ear plugs. That thing is a little jet turbine.
