I was just notified by Porterfield brakes that they have come out with a new pad for the C43

I have been waiting over a year for this new low dust pad that is supposed to be better than stock stopping power, link is below.

Looks to be the price for just front. Yes...4 pads. One pair per caliper. Pricey!

Yes, they are a bit pricey but for the low dust and extra stopping power I am sure they are very much worth the price!

*DISCLAIMER: No I do not work for Porterfield nor do I have any affiliation with them, I am just an AMG enthusiast who hates MB brake dust issues

i had them on my w202. they are magic. very very low dust, and insane stopping power, the pads didnt fade. i will be tracking these this year. looks to be about $60 more than oem for front and $60 more for rear. still plan to use stock rotors. this will be a killer brake setup. and we really cant complain. look at the c63 brake pad costs

Very nice find.

Considering the low dust and high stopping power, what would you say of the life expectancy?

Quote: Anyone had these installed on their C43 yet?

The reason I posted and kep following Porterfield brakes was because past owners of older AMG's who are current bord members, used them said they were exceptional brake pads. I then contacted them and waited over a year for them to come out, they only came out less than 3 weeks ago, so I don't think anyone had them installed yet.

I am waiting until spring to install them, then I can get my Performance shop to paint the calipers at the same time.

Car detailing is a serious hobby of mine and the brake dust from the original MB pads is horendous, can't wait to make the change.
