Newbie - C43 Standard Exhaust - Needs advice from the Pros
I have a 2017 C43 Couple, just picked it up and love it. The standard exhaust has deep roaring notes in sports + which is amazing.... However, I am not getting those crackles and pops that I loved when i test drove one with the performance exhaust . It was specked without the sports exhaust when I purchased it.
Any mod that I can do, which won't effect my warranty and will make my stock exhaust a little more aggressive sounding ?
Hooked on AMG for life now !

What are you saying? In Canada the Performance Exhaust is only an option if you purchase the AMG Drivers Package.

Yes MTL and wish you were correct ! From my understanding, unless the steering wheel has the AMG logo, the car is not have the upgraded performance exhaust as the Steering Wheel , Performance exhaust and value button come together. The person I bought my 2017 from has the standard non AMG wheel and standard AMG exhaust, but not upgraded performance.
Pro's - My car sounds much louder when I first start her up, then the performance exhaust...
Con's - When I punch the gas i get a very deep almost ferrari sound, with very little bangs and crackles !
So I if i can do something that allows me to keep my warranty and gain some of those crackles, life would be perfect owing this C43.

The only way you can get more pops is either installing downpipes or doing a burble tune. I suspect both of these would void warranty. I have the standard exhaust and I wish I bought a C43 with the PE.

Here I am wishing you could get the deeper tone without the cracks and pops (which I guess a cat back with standard exhaust is the best way to do this). Find them annoying and childish for a car that is basically programmed to have them rather than naturally producing that sound.

There is a ECU software difference between a C450 and C43 without PE. A c450 has a little of bit of burble tune built in, a C43 without PE does not have that. So no aftermarket exhaust will give you the bangs and pops you are looking for. Contact Renntech or go to a renntech dealership, they have a sick burble tune for the C43, combine that with an after market exhaust, then you might get close to what you are looking for.
All tunes will void your warranty. Renntech's one will be the safest option in terms of full tune and some Renntech affiliated dealerships will honor a good amount of warranty work and will only deny things when a big ticket item breaks (like the engine or tranny), which for this car has been so far solid.
