C43 Wagon Facelift Order
So I've been on this section of the forums for a while after deciding that the above model would be best suited for my next vehicle.
Currently have an E220d Premium Plus ( W213) which is very comfortable and has most of the gadgets, but it's just a bit boring obviously.
So spontaneously this weekend I decide to visit the Benz Dealer in my hometown, and right in front of the door they had a brand new, unregistered C43 AMG Wagon Premium Plus.
Almost the exact spec I wanted bar one small detail- it has the gloss black centre console. However to avoid a 3-4 month wait.
So i took an identical used one for a test and absolutely loved it! The AMG PE is a must. I managed to convince the boss at home, and negotiated just over 10 % off list.
The 385 bhp 3.0 Bi turbo sounds great and I can't imagine needing anything faster than this. I've been an AMG fan since childhood and can't believe I'm finally get my own😀
So looking forward to collecting it on Sunday, only a 1 week wait ! Hope the run in period goes fast is all I can say!

Congratulations! Beautiful ride...wish you the best of luck and fun with it! Great color choice as well (I’m getting the same- BB)
Unfortunately for me I didn’t find the speck car I wanted and had to order mine which is killing me lol. Hopefully only another 2 months and I’ll have it!

I only went in for a general test drive! But the route allowed for plenty of foot down driving and a tunnel, I was sold!
Very lucky here in the UK that we have plenty of fast Wagons, although to my dismay there's so many sales of faux sporty SUVs, but I guess that makes the fast wagon an even rarer sleeper.
What bodystyle & spec did you order? Hope the wait goes quick!

That is very lucky indeed! I think we had a hand full of BB coupes in the entire US and none of them had the exact spec I wanted. I’m about half way thru the wait...supposed to be built the first decade of June with hopefully a beginning to mid July delivery.

The first 1000 miles will be hard , resisting the temptation to floor it in Sport +.

Shame you don't get them in the US, I think they'd sell enough to make it worthwhile?
People's obsession with 'sporty' SUVs, that are in reality compromised, confuses me.

I wonder if it's easier to get the Spouse's buy-in for a SUV (that happens to be sporty) rather than a "car" that is sporty.
There is also the other factor, that at this point selection of non-SUV's is so thin, some give up.

My younger brother in law and wife don't see the appeal of the estate, but IMO to most petrolheads as we call them in the UK, a performance wagon has major appeal!
