2016 C450 AMG

Exhaust systems

Any good and reliable exhaust systems I can get for the C450? Something loud but not too loud, but also has a good flow to it

Mercedes AMG C43 Estate

If that's the sedan version you have, I would suggest Capristo. Pro - very sophisticated noise. Con - expensive.

Best thing to do is look for an amg optional PE and retrofit it. Hands down best sound!!

Because this thread exists, Ill ask a question I have been waiting to ask. I know there are only 3-5 exhaust options out there for the vehicle, so I wanted to ask what everyones thoughts were on a couple of the other systems, NOT the AWE. I know AWE is the most recommended, but im curious about the Armytix of the FI. Both seem expensive, which honestly does NOT mean they are any better.

Last questions, does AWE have a variable valve option?

Of course you can. I did last weekend on my c450 and I also added control valves system from my old valvetronic exhaust so I can open and close it on demand. Best mod I've done this far. Its hard to find the PE but certainly worth the search. I've heard them all and NO aftermarket exhaust can match the PE period

No dealership will install the exhaust, its way to costly and complicated for them so they tend to avoid it all together. I was like you, looking for the best exhaust and searched for a longtime and ended getting a custom built valvetronic exhaust which was decent but not sounding as good as I hoped, 8 months later I found a used full C43 amg performance exhaust from a local shop and ended up buying it (best mod I've done)

I transferred the control valves from my old exhaust to the amg exhaust and now I fully open and shut the amg exhaust and it sounds exactly like how it would come out of the factory.

So first is find a amg performance exhaust from a wrecked c43 and botl it on to your car

Yea armytrix is far too expensive and loud IMHO and does not sound as refined as the amg performance exhaust but some people like that kind of sound. It's a popular option

Has anybody on the c450/c43 platform gone the Meisterschaft Stainless GTS Ultimate Exhaust route? Just the mufflers though not the full setup ( LSR + Mufflers )
