Last night driving home from work, my 18 C43 Coupe hit 10,000 miles and I snapped a pic of the gauge cluster. Not until this morning did I notice in the pic that my engine/coolant temp is all the way up to next to the max. I didn't get any lights or warnings last night and honestly not sure if it's happened before. As far I remember, it usually is just at slightly over half.
I did drive in Sport mode from start.....is there anything to worry about? Any idea why it would be so high?
I have a 18 C43 sedan and typically when I’m pushing it the engine temp will reach 220+ and the tranny temp will reach just over 200, and that’s when it’s hot outside in the blazing sun. I bought it new and just broke 25K miles. Maybe your temp sensor is acting up if the engine itself isn’t giving you any issues. Perhaps someone else can chime in, but just to be on the safe side id take it to the dealer for an inspection.
I did a track day in my 2017 C43 sedan when it got up to 95 deg. F (35 deg. C) and the maximum temp experienced (about 270 deg F/132 deg. C) still never hit the warning stage (275 deg. F/135 deg. C) and the car was being pushed very hard. Based upon that datapoint, I'd guess that yours has some issue.

As I know, it is more important to control oil temperature rather than coolant.
Coolant temp at track days upon to 132deg normal after 3-4 fast laps.
I was more confused with tires temperature after laps (98 deg!!!!) for front. Brakes......
On Canada day, went to the beach and temp was like 30C (which is consider hot in Toronto lol) or 86F. On sport+ my engine and transmission, both temp rose to 100C or 212F. Thought that was high but it wasn't even close to the max.

Nope, that’s not high at all. These V6’s in our 43s are beasts.

I think this temperature is normal. If the temperature is high, engine check will be alarm
Thanks everyone! I jumped the gun and looked at the pic when I first woke up without my glasses and thought it was all the way up. It was a tick over half once i zoomed in.
