H&R VTFs Creaking / popping noise from passenger rear
All fronts -2.5, rear driver is at -.275 except rear passenger which sits at -3. As there is no adjustment possible I am stuck with this. Don't know how bad these numbers are. May be you guys can chime in. My height is maxed out in the rear, and 35mm higher that the lowest position in the front. Ride quality so far feels fantastic.
everytime i measure ride height it's a bit different because of uneven ground.

I’m still on h&r springs, if I remember right my fronts are -2.1° and rears are -2.0°. I did have my alignment guy pull both rear lower arms in by grinding the elongated hole.
It’s been holding up well last time I checked. I’ll probably go with kmac camber kits if I decide to switch to vtf’s.
When I am getting on an inclined pavement from the street at an angle, as in turing into a steep pavement (does not happen over the the normal ones) I am heard a metal on metal scraping sound when getting on the surface. I got off the car and checked what just happened. And looked like my passenger front wheel was fully loaded (compressed) and extremely tucked in, while my driver front and passenger rear was completely off the ground, with rear driver also compressed, the front passenger side being the most compressed though. I have a 5mm spacer in the front making a resultant ET of 30 with a 8.5J front wheel. Never had this issue before the H&R sport springs even though the car sat lower than it is currently. It is almost like the current springs have been cut short, so it pulls the tire off the ground much sooner than before, I dunno if that makes sense. But the thing that bothered me was the scraping sound, I have heard it before when the inner side of my wheel was hitting the suspension knuckle over the its very characteristic bump.
I have lifted the car off when I put the spacer in and there was a good a 3 to 4mm space between the wheel and the suspension knuckle at its tightest point. I verified this is the gap while the tire was on a flat surface (loaded wheels) during alignment. Is it technically possible for this gap to decrease when one tire gets compressed a lot? Cause ever since I got the spacer, I have never heard the wheels rubbing the inner knuckle ever. Super weird.
I guess I have to extra careful getting into inclided surfaces going forward. But I Have no idea what else I can do, cause my steering was pointing completely straight while I heard this sound, so it definitely was not my tires rubbing on the inner fender. Also my traction control light came on while I was trying to go over the surface. Probably because one of the tires were freely spinning.
fronts on the HAS setup also have helper springs - are those suppled with the VTF and were they installed? (sometimes people leave these out to get a lower set-up)

The springs are not stiffer for sure as the car feels more compliant overall and much more comfortable. I do not think the H&R comes with with that small spring in the buttom in the fronts.
In my search for adjustable springs for the C43, most of the websites selling VTF and HAS only show stock photos of their product and not the actual C43 kits.
So I think it would be great to actually be able to see them.
I’m getting my HAS kit in about a months time, because Germany is out of stock at the moment and they have to be produced.

I didn't get a chance to take a picture of my VTF but here's a picture I had before that I downloaded from one of the suppliers.
The ride is the same compared to the stock springs. So far, I love it. I will be putting my 20 inch rims in the next 2 weeks and might have to adjust the height.

i'm not sure if VTF is supposed to have them or not - or if they have them built in to the primary spring.
