This “first thread” has now transformed into my Ultimate Journal on every modification being done on a factory 2019 C43 4MATIC Sedan (originally in Iridium Silver). I’m going to leave the original notes for people new to the thread that care enough to see the original thought process.

I’m midway through completing my 3M satin black wrap with gloss black chrome delete on my 2019 C43 Sedan (originally Iridium Silver with night package) and would like thoughts on brake caliper colors from the esteemed MB World community.
Also please note - the stock wheels you see in the images will be getting powdercoated in gloss black, which will make the caliper color very pivotal to the look of the entire car.
What I have in mind, in order of preference:
1. Matte blue (see image below)
2. Matte red/candy apple red (interior is black w/ red stitching)
3. Frozen yellow
4. Matte copper
5. Leave the factory silver as is
(Edit) After-Much-Deliberation - Updated Top 3: (note: wheels will be gloss black) 1. Matte/satin black calipers with red “AMG” 2. Matte blue with black “AMG” 3. Matte red with black “AMG”
(Edit #2): Final Top 3 Caliper Colors (undecided) 1. Petronas Green with Black “AMG” 2. Ferrari Red with Black or White “AMG” 3. Black with Red “AMG”

Caliper Color Ideas: Example image: Matte Blue Calipers (the color I’m leaning towards, but maybe with “AMG” logo in white)
Lime Green (not on the list but another option)
Standard Ferrari red, can’t go wrong, matches the interior red stitching BUT I wanted to do something a little different like the blue.. can’t decide!
+1 on copper. I had a set of custom 3-piece done for my corvette centennial edition. Those cars came with a specific paint code from factory, carbon flash metallic and the wheels I had done were gloss black face with shinny copper lips. Not many go the copper route so you will be somewhat unique to a point but not many like the color either, but goes excellent with black.

Gonna be completely honest with you guys, after much thought I feel the copper is reserved for 63’s that actually have carbon ceramic brakes, now I’m going off the deep end and leaning towards lame, lime green or ruddy, commoner red.. send help pls
The matte blue was nice but I feel whatever color you go with, have to go with a gloss so it does not get lost in all matte colors. With the exception of lime green, yellow. Even matte colors they stand out.

Understand your reservation on the copper, so given I’m not a red fan, of the other options, I’d opt for the Blue with Black AMG decals ... but at the end of the day, its your car, go with what YOU like ...
Red is safe but then wrapping in satin black says you want to stand out so hardly the safe color choice ... green is great on Lambos, Yellow is ceramic option on many brands and you don’t want copper as this is C63 and above ... looks to me like you’ve chosen Blue

Thanks for the thorough analysis, you’re right. But I went to the shop and they came back with a black caliper/red AMG lettering idea and it’s sitting pretty nicely in my head atm. I’ve ditched the other colors and have come to this final verdict:
Top 3: (wheels will be powder-coated in gloss black)

2. Matte blue with black “AMG”
3. Ferrari red with black “AMG”
