2019 C43 AMG

Losing the exhaust "pop"

I have noticed there is no "pop" between gears in Sport+ mode when hold the break down, gas around 2000-2500 rpm's and then let off the break (C43 Race mode)

The "pops" are there every other time but only disappear when I try this technique.

Any ideas why? Is this normal?

Same thing here. Happens during brake boosting

just tried with 2019 c43 and same thing happened no pop or bang but nice acceleration lol

Same (2019), think some youtuber claimed that the C43 goes into "launch-mode" when brake-boosting and therefor focuses on Performance only, without Pops.
Then again, no one knows certain

I found this out in 2017 and wrote about this in forum. I explained why this happens and the differences if it does not happen. I am pretty sure you can find it out somewhere.

Can we somehow tune out the fart on upshifts for all situations? Currently I find the upshift fart extremely annoying. Interestingly, they only started getting louder after I hit 3,500km on the odometer. It happens on all the upshifts during regular driving.
