Are upshifts "farts" normal at every gear change?

When I first got my C43 all upshifts were silent unless I was harder on the throttle. However, once I crossed 2000 miles on the odometer, I noticed that all my shifts "fart" even if I drive gently, and even in Comfort mode. Is this the same for all you guys as well?

As you know I have a Euro 2019, with AMG PE ( can't remember if yours does? ).
I wouldn't say there is no up shift fart either in any modes, such as could be heard on the prefacleift , and definitely not like the frequent and more pronounced upshift fart like you get on the Golf R / Audi S3 ( EA888) cars.

Mine seems to have more upshift fart than a Golf R, because it happens even on light throttle, light load, low rpm upshifts. In a Golf R you can make the car shift without noise if you drove lightly. Mine is impossible to shift without noise even trying to drive lightly. Perhaps it is a characteristic of the Sports Exhaust (non-PE)?

I have 350 miles on mine and it's pretty silent if I'm not on it in Comfort without the exhaust on.

Let us know how it is after 2000 miles. Once I started driving it at higher revs, the exhaust found its voice. But around the same time, the farts got permanent even in comfort mode and light driving.

Mine has done 3600 miles, no farts with AMG PE.

not even at specific rpm? they seem to be more prevalent at a early shift point (5000 - 5500) and almost always while 75%+ WOT

I have 12,000km on my car and noticed upshift farts on comfort maybe once a week while driving pass 3000rpm always have PE on. Nothing from 1000 to 2000rpm.

Thats interesting. Mine are lighter below 3000rpm, but they are there, that is to say, it isn’t a silent shift - definitely punctuated instead of seemless/silent. I don’t have PE.

I have the PE and much to my demise the farts have been there since day one although I have figured out if I put it into the mode with the snowflake icon (don't recall the name) and I turn on the exhaust it gives me pretty much the exact sound I want.

And best of all, it's fart-less.

Has anyone here noticed on S+, where we get the extreme farting actions between autoshifts on redline, the car lugs back a split seconds for your butt dyno to feel it's half a second slower then autoshifting on regular S with exhaust open, where there is like half of farts of S+?

TLDR, is S faster then S+?
