Hi all!

I love reading the boards and helped me learned a lot.
I ordered a 2020 C43 sedan and hopefully will be in at the end of November.

I wanted some recommendations on the tow hook Front license bracket mount. Amazon recommendations would be easier.

I would recommend the Rho plate V2. Easy install and really feels high quality. Not sure if its available on amazon though. They ship fast too-- my order shipped out the same day and arrived the next.

Check out Skeene Design, used them on current C43 and previous Porsches, nicely made in USA.

You might want to consider the following.

In my opinion this looks much cleaner than a tow hook license plate holder. I replaced my tow hook holder with this.

Few months ago, I detailed few front plate mounting options that are available for C63S and they would apply for C43 too. You can check it out here: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...l-options.html

I have not mounted my license plate for now since none of them proved to be a great option. If at all I get a ticket, I might just go ahead and drill holes in the bumper and directly mount if required. Or go with a tow hook mount.

Thanks for the advice on the front plate. I'm on Long island, NY and there are lots of police around that will give me a hard time.
One time I was pulled over on my Lexus IS with a front plate holder and they made a point to really inspect that.

I'm really concerned about finding one that won't inhibit the front sensors.

I'm out East on the Island and was stopped about a week ago by Suffolk Hwy Patrol so I ordered the Sly Bracket that just came in today. Looks easy enough to install on the lower grill

just installed it this evening. Came out nice considering I hate the look of front plates. Lol

+1 not a fan of front plates either. If you get a chance post a pic, curious what it looks like on the lower grill

IMO it’s better than having it to the side using the tow hook.

Here’s a pic of the clearance, I used the 1/2 inch spacer, worked like a charm.
