Ventilated seats & Rear Curtain options

I noticed that extra button next to the seat warmer is usually blank. What year did they offer the c450/c43 ventilated seat option?
Even the c63 has those blank buttons which is odd for a car that is this much. My brothers gmc sierra truck from 2016 has heated and cooled (ventilated) seats.

And what about the rear curtains? Does anyone know when that option became available?

I don't think the C class has the option for rear curtains. And the ventilated seats were only available on the regular sports seats.

But since the facelift, the performance seats can now be optioned with the ventilation feature.

The W205 C300 Estates have the option for rear curtains and I believe ventilated seats as well, not sure if they provided it for the 43 Sedans.

I just don’t think that many people went for the ventilated seats. I’ve had two cars with ventilated seats and I never used it. It would not be something I would ever option my car with if I bought a new car.

i’ve never seen one with rear curtains.

My 2018 C43 has the rear curtain if you are talking about that motorized sunshade in the rear window.

I'm in Florida so I would LOVE to have ventilated seats. Haven't had them on a car yet though have test driven a few that had it and I would definitely use that feature. The first C43 I looked at had it though the one I ended up with didn't.

We had ventilated seats on our C7 Z06 and now they’re a must-have option as we look for a 2019 C43 daily driver.

My buddy's C400 has it and my C450 does not. A salesman I know said you needed the (real) leather for ventilated seats. That was before, but I believe you no longer have to have them for it.
So, his 2015 205 has them if that answers that question.

I believe the rear sunshade (assuming here that you mean the back window) was optional for the build sheet.

I was told by the dealer that the ventilated seats are not avail with the performance seats + Dinamica option my car has. I agree this is kind of unusual since the seats are a $5K option

Ventilated seats were a requirement for me. I guess if you live some place cooler or drier it might not mater to you but in a hot and humid environment it matters.

dynamica stays way cooler than leather seats. also in FL and don't feel the need for ventilated seats in the slightest (they are not cooled - just air btw).

I tried both last sunny June @2:00 PM. The ventilated seats were so much cooler and drier, it wasn't even a contest.
