OEM W205 Inductive Wireless Charging Retrofit Success
Hello all

I just completed the OEM wireless charging retrofit on my C43! I am very happy with it! One thing that always bothered me is that my phone wouldn't fit down in the cubby in the console and would protrude into the cupholder area. This solves that problem and adds oem wireless charging and an additional USB. I purchased the one with funcitonal usb. but they also have a cheaper version without functional usb.

How easy was the installation? Any programming required? Does it work flawlessly?

There's a much cheaper aftermarket one on Amazon. It adds a cooling fan and 2 * 2A usb ports. I haven't tried it yet though.

why why why?
why doing UNNECESSARY WORK when you dont have to?
the aftermarket wireless charging on amazon works great and easy to install too !

the reason i chose this route over the aftermarket amazon is because the phone sits all the way down in the tray. the aftermarket one makes the phone tilt up and into cup holder area. so if you have drinks in there or whatever it causes a conflict. This oem charger allows the phone to lay flat down in the tray area. Also the usb is 2A and also connects to radio and can use it as a normal data and charging usb not just charging.

also when i launch or accelerate hard my phone always flys to the back seat when its tilted up like that amazon design. with this design, it stays in place.

no coding. they do it all. its all plug and play. i had to cut out a bracket to make room but that was it. everything else plug and play and bolt on.

because the aftermarket one looks absolute s***! I was looking for this option and really, I’d rather pay premium money for a premium solution, rather than fill up the entire storage space with something which looks just as cheap as it is!
