Have you tryed to get it fixed under warranty?

had it with my prev 2015 W205 60k miles and mb only let me pay Euro 500 for seat and backrest

I'd suggest taking it to a professional auto upholstery place and getting a quote for the job - might not be as expensive as you'd think and the finish and color match will be bang on.

Had a similar issue with my Audi bolsters (not cracked, but showing wear) and ended up finding the place that the local Mercedes and Porsche dealers send their vehicles in to for reconditioning. Looked better than new.

I haven’t tried under warranty. I will ask next time I’m at the dealership. It isn’t bad enough for me to want to pay $700+ for a new seat though.. yet..
